We really enjoyed working with Alex. So much so that when we couldn't come together on a price we could afford, we left Jim Ellis to visit a VW dealership closer to our home. They offered us a better price for the Alltrack they were selling and a better price for our trade in. Instead of going with their deal, we came back to Jim Ellis, test drove a preowned car (that we ended up not being crazy about), and ended up working out a deal with Alex on the car we originally wanted. There was no pressure at Jim Ellis and none of the tactics used by competitors (we're not making any money on this deal, we have to make this deal now or not at all, etc.) and because of the excellent customer service we received we wanted to give them our business.

I was serious about a 2014 SEL Tiquen in the certified pre-owned lot and fortunately parked in front of the new car dealership. Upon returning to our car to contemplate, we looked at the new Tiquen's and our future salesman came out, introduced himself, and pointed out the Memorial Day offer on the cars in-stock, Fast forward, I ended up with a new 2017 S in the exact color combinations my daughter wanted for less than the asking price of the 2014 SEL that has ~25k in miles.

I was wary of going to a dealership to buy a used car, as of course, I've heard horror stories from the past of people's buying experience. But I want to say that Rickey Holmes was no pressure to me. He showed me the car I was interested in and helped to explain its features, warranty, and price breakdown. Lance Jeter, whom I worked with on the financing of the car, was warm and welcoming and also very knowledgeable and attentive to my needs and also thoroughly answered my questions. Overall, my experience at Jim Ellis was a positive one. I found a car I liked and that fit my budget. Also, I lucked out on buying a car on Memorial Day as I was treated to a hamburger and some BBQ chicken that was being grilled up. Thank you for the exemplary service I received. Staff is pleasant enough but not the most courteous. Way to much wasted time for the clients. Stalling tactics unacceptable. I was there for four hours. Should have been done in 2 hours at the most.
