I purchased a 2008 VW GTI in July. I asked the sales person if it had any problems, and he said no. One month later, I had to bring the car back due to engine issues, and was quoted over $900 in repairs. I asked the service manager to help compensate the repairs, and he refused. The dealership knew about the engine problem (bad valve cover gasket) before selling the car to me, but didn't inform me about the issue. This was dishonest, and I would not recommend buying a used car from Jim Ellis VW.

Excellent service. The best of any VW dealership I've been to. Rose, my service rep, was very helpful.

Thanks Phil Coleman for really being attentive to our needs and making a suggestion that made all of the difference in the world.

Phil Coleman is excellent. I have purchased 6 cars from him. I was in the market for a used car for my daughter who is far away in college. Phil mentioned leasing to me and it was the best thing ever. I never would have considered it, but it gives my wife and I piece of mind knowing that our daughter is in a new car and the car is fully covered.

The experience started out well, but after closing the deal on the car, the salesman, Mark Shaw, indicated that the two missing left and right 2nd row headrests would be sent to me after he contacted the previous owner the following day. He called me 3 days later indicating that the headrests were not available. I asked him how I was going go get headrests for the otherwise unsafe-to-use seats and he said he didn't now but he'd ask his manager and contact me thereafter. That was a week ago and I've heard nothing since. Now I'm faced with having to replace these two headrests at a cost of over $1000!!! Very displeased.

I was just resolving the ABS recall issue. Jermaine was extremely courteous and helpful. He is a professional and reflects greatly upon the dealership.
