These comments are related to having been in the middle of treatment for my left knee. COVID interrupted this plan of three weekly injections. I had to wait longer for next treatment and believe this could have been earlier that is why I answered question 1 with a no.

Nurse Julia has always shown exceptional care and concern. I truly had missed her during this covid 19 situation but it was good to know that she was back and still her wonderful, informative self. a true asset to the AAMC family.

Considering that we are experiencing a pandemic, everyone in the office that I dealt with, were very pleasant and courteous.

I was prescribed a walking boot which this office would not provide me with. I was told this office would not deal with my insurance company and if I wanted to walk out in the boot that day I would need to pay $360. I was given two other options....buy one off Amazon for $90 (why would I pay that when my insurance company will cover it) or go to a medical supply store (40 minutes away). The medical supply store that was given to me was no longer in service. The fact that I was not informed of this BEFORE my appointment (the fact that the office will not deal with my insurance) just baffles me. I had been in quarantine because of the Covid and truly didnt even want to go to this appointment. But because I could barely walk I felt it was medically necessary. I was visibily upset in the office because of the fact that I was now going to have to risk exposure again by going to another store! I had not even gone to a grocery store since March 11th! All the provider kept saying to me was 'how can I make this right?'. My answer was a simple one....put me a boot and save me from having to go into another building. What still upsets me to no end was the fact that had someone told me PRIOR to my appointment, I would have gone with a different provider. My normal orthopedist couldn't see me until Friday. I could have and should have waited until then to save myself the frustration and 2 hours of driving in order to get a walking boot that your provider said I needed.
