Easy phone call would have been better. Better to talk with someone always than to have to use electronics.

I called at 10:30 at night which was kinda late but my water wouldn’t shut off in the bathtub. I just moved in so I didn’t know where the shut off valve was and I was stressed trying to find it. When I called the lady didn’t know where it was either and she said she would send a pic of it but instead she sent me an email of a YouTube link of where to find a shut off switch which did not help at all. So she had to send the city out and at that point my water was running for 3 hours straight without a solution. Finally the city came out and shut it off out front super late at night. The next day when the maintenance guy came we found out that the shut off switch was in a tiny little hidden door in a closet. The stress of everything could have been avoided if the information about where to find the shut off switch for the water was. Now I fear for how much money my water bill will be.
