The issue was not resolved. Wasn't the guys fault. The process is difficult.

It was very frustrating to deal with the inconsistency of the times set with the maintenance worker vs when they actually arrived. Both of us (residents) work during the day and have limited windows of time for availability. Therefore, when we set and agree upon a timeframe, we really need to stick to it. One of the days when they were late, they claimed they knocked on the door, but 'assumed we were busy' when we didn't answer, due to not hearing the knocking. They then decided to leave, and there were no attempts to call or text either of us in case we didn't hear the door. We also felt that the amount of time it took to resolve the issues, specifically the front door, took an abnormally long time (i.e. about 2+ weeks). In that timespan, our house became overrun by insects such as earwigs that were crawling through the large cracks in the front doorway.
