since moving to Prestige Kalispell Assisted Living my husband is thriving, physically and mentally.He is able to ambulate independently with a walker, his diabetes has stabilized, he has made friends, always looks forward to playing Bingo and Dominos with his friends.The staff is attentive, and all residents are well cared for. Prestige has been a good placement for my husband Fred, and gives me peace of mind.

There seems to be a lack of communication among the health care workers. My parent has dementia and when I give the health people information it seems to go unheard. Maybe if you kept a file on each person you’d have that info available to everyone. One of the cleaners reported to me that my parent was very rude to her. Why didn’t she have a basic understanding of dementia?

Exactly how does the person or persons renting a newly vacant apartment get picked. I know one case where the person got in the apartment immediately. Was this because she was coming from the hospital?
