I requested, because of copious recent wildfire ash locally, the replacement of engine and cabin air filters. Did not see those items on the invoice. To be fair, have not yet examined these filters for collected ash and filth, to see if the replacement actually occurred. If so, free is always good. Otherwise, the usual expected service.

The air conditioner on my recently purchased 2018 Forester wasn't blowing cold. I bought it from an out-of-town dealership, which did not properly inspect for this defect. They listed it as working on the Certified Pre-Owned inspection. However, Kendall was able to fit me in within a day of calling for an appointment. At every step they treated me like a VIP customer with excellent communication and very little waiting time. They explained up front how they might possibly find damage not covered by the warranty (little chance of this but they said it could happen). I dropped it off in the morning--this only took 10 minutes, including a full car walk-around. They had it done by early afternoon. And I was able to pick it up just after regular business hours. No charge for the service. I'm very satisfied with the experience and feel like they've thought through the customer experience and figured out how to make it easy and stress free.
