Dr. Frick put me so at ease about my medical issues. His staff is very helpful. Any and all questions that I had were addresses quickly and completely. This is a top notch facility and the staff is amazing

From the first appointment to the final appointment I was amazed how smoothly everything went.

Office staff was helpful with iPad check-in and arranging reasonable appointment times. Medical staff tried shots and ointments for pain relief before recommending surgery. I think the MRI could have been done sooner to identify the issues. Dr. Fricka was able to start the surgery at 7 and I was home by 10. Amazing!

As a nurse practitioner, specializing in rheumatology and orthopedics for over 25 years, I have referred all potential joint replacements to AOC, as well as any other orthopedic patient that might need surgical intervention. I have referred patients who need initial hip or knee replacement to Dr. Fricka and revision or repeat joint replacement to Dr. Hamilton for the last 35 + years. I myself have had surgeries by Dr. Branche and Dr. Nagda and have always been pleased with the excellent care I and my patients have received. However, I was not pleased with the 2 hour wait to be seen for this most recent visit with Dr Fricka and lack of communication by staff. My appointment was scheduled for 0930 and was told to arrive 0915. I arrived earlier, as I had about a 2 hour commute from Winchester and had to plan for more traffic than anticipated, in order to be on time. At 1030, I asked the front desk staff if I had missed my name being called, as several patients who came in after my scheduled appointment were called back before me. I realize there are several other providers who are working, but it would have been nice if they had let me know that there was a delay. I understand how busy the providers are, but it would’ve been nice to be notified. Very shortly thereafter, I was called back by the x-ray staff. They took the CD of MRI and hip films I brought, but informed me Dr. would want updated hip films, and that was fine. At about 11 am, I asked the front desk again, if I had been forgotten. They checked with Dr. Fricka’s staff and said they were waiting for a room to open. I went back a short while after that. Dr. Fricka was very pleasant and reviewed my MRI as well as plain films. He answered all of my questions and I was pleased with our visit, with the exception of the wait and lack of communication. I tell you this, so you can address with the reception staff. Dr Frika was professional and warm. He took the time to explain results and ensure that I understood them.

Dr Fricka is helpful, he explains things well. He is friendly, easy to talk with. He’s a highly skilled and respected surgeon. I couldn’t be more pleased with the results of my knee surgery so much so that I’m having my other knee done by him soon.

Pleasant atmosphere and wonderful service. Dr. Fricka did a wonderful job replacing my hip. Thank you for helping me regaining my joy of walking again.
