I feel like I’m in really good hands under the care of Dr. Fricka and his team. Always provide insightful information about where I am in the recovery process from knee replacement surgery. That in turn helps me manage my expectations - someone who cherishes being active - running, hiking, skiing, etc.

From my prior experience with a total shoulder replacement (Dr. Lovallo) which was phenomenal, the reputation of Dr. Fricka being the head of exoskeleton surgery for the entire INOVA system, and, the overall reputation and personal experiences of friends with Anderson Orthopedic as being the best in the mid-Atlantic, who else would you want operating on you?

Everything went very very well.One comment would be to have a faster telephone response when calling this office.Wait time can be long before you speak to a person.

Dr Fricka's attention to detail concerning my bleeding issue after my right knee replacement surgery was outstanding. He explained what possibly caused the bleeding and attended to resolving the complication expertly. He gave explicit instructions to me what to and what not to do throughout the weekend and offered to have me return should the bleeding persist. Once I removed the ace bandage and additional gause on Sunday, not a drop of blood was seen. .
