Dr Fricka's explanation of his diagnostic evaluation using X-rays to visualize what he is describing is an excellent way for non-medical people to understand exactly what the orthopedic situation is and his recommendations. His competence, fine listening skills, respectful manner and professionalism as well as his ability to connect in a human way is reassuring and inspires confidence in patients. Dr Fricka presents options including surgery for the patient and does not pressure having surgery emphasizing that decision is up the patient when the person is ready to proceed. Dr Fricka is the best!!!

Wait time was much longer than usual

The staff should wear masks. (They did put masks on when I asked, but they were exposed to the public prior to that.)

Dr. Fricka is excellent with Pre-op & post-op information: handouts & the Force Therapeutics platform. I would suggest some written materials for one year out patients: kind of like a “what now?” Hand out. I found it hard to absorb all he & his fellow were telling me! All good stuff but maybe he could put the “what to expect” in a handout the way he did so effectively at the time of my surgery.
