The staff were all very kind. The coaches could have spent more time explaining the steps to the kids because it was chaotic. The coach was too far from the kids for them to hear (especially because of how loud it was). Each section was rushed, and the coaches spent time trying to wrangle the kids who didn’t know what to do. I recommend for smaller kids that the coaches stand closer to the kids, get down closer to their eye level, take a little longer explaining what to do.The building layout makes it so the back room class has to pass by the front room class to enter and leave. It was loud and hard for the kids to hear instructions when one class ended and the other began. Stagger the classes more, even by 10-15, so each class is getting value out of the first half of their class.

Phoebe is on the spectrum and the coaches never got frustrated and continued to find different ways to keep her interested and engaged in the program. I was extremely pleased with our first session and Phoebe talked about the session all the way home. Kidstrong is a wonderful program, and we look forward to being a part of the program for a good bit of time.

Energetic, motivating coaches work well with each other and with the kids. Lots of encouragement from staff/coaches. Kids are excited and eager to be there and do the class activities!

I was worried how Dylan would respond his first time, but he loved the class. The program was engaging, fun, and a good mix of different skill development. The coaches were amazing as well!

My 9 year old son loved the class and the coaches kept up the energy. My only concern was that the other kids in the class needed more attention. My son wasn’t corrected on his form in a few things. If there is a kid that doesn’t want to do the class and has a bad attitude maybe don’t spend all your time on that kid. I owned a tumbling gym for 7 years and this is something I had to learn.

We love the KidStrong program in general. This was our first class at Denton and it met all of our expectations. It will be even better when the coaches get more experienced and confident.

Colt is a slow warm up. Patience was given and encouragement provided! The content and structure was great! Coaches saw that Colt was not going to do it independently or for PaPa and stepped in and encouraged him and it worked!! He talked about going back and being a “kid strong”!! Great first experience!!

We showed up late to our first class, and I was already mortified, but when we came in and I explained, the coaches immediately welcomed Leo and made him feel so included! The staff was all so kind and warm, and didn’t make me feel like a horrible parent haha. Leo was so excited and can’t wait for his next class.
