No. I think my kids are just a bit young and still finding what they enjoy.

More class times and options would have been nice ! Now that he’s 4 (tomorrow) we are considering returning since there will be more class options and it will be easier to schedule around his sisters dance classes. I also felt like the class tokens and make up options were very confusing. Maybe that was just me not understanding but it was very unclear to me.

It would have been helpful for coaches to suggest when it was time for a kid to move up age/ability wise to next class. We realized that we should have moved up sooner after struggling with kid being bored and not appropriately challenged. This could have helped with streamlining the crowding.

Teach correct form for exercises and constantly help kids learn how to improve on activity or skill. If a child is on the rope, go over and correct form and show how to get higher. If running flailing, quietly go to child and have them practice hip to lip. If a child is jumping and can’t make it to next box, show them how to bend legs more, pull arms back and get power. There was zero of this kind of coaching for any children the entire time we were at Kidstrong.

It was better when Coach Tory was there. He was rally energetic and engaging and made it a ton of fun for the kids.

I love the character building elements of the class!! One thing that’s frustrating is how the app will give you an error message when trying to book a class even if you have available credits.

I am seeing positive changes in Alex even just three classes in. I see an increase in BJ’s confidence and ability to do physical challenges (like the monkey bars) which he wasn’t doing prior to the class.I do wish there was more of an emotional regulation component such as teaching breathing strategies and emotional awareness which I saw at our first trial class back in 2024. I haven’t seen that yet this time around and am hoping it’s still part of what they teach at Kidstrong.
