Yes. Conducting an initial assessment before placement and promptly moving my daughter to an age- and skill-appropriate class after I raised the concern would likely have prevented the cancellation.

This facility was more than we expected! The coaches were perfect at keeping the kids engaged, explaining directions in which they could easily follow, the sign up process was flawless, and it was meticulously clean. Immediately after our first trial class we bought the 6 month package right then and there & we are so excited to come back!

For young children, rewards can shift motivation from enjoying the activity to seeking external validation, and when effort isn’t recognized, interest and confidence can quickly fade. KidStrong has a great program, but I recommend rethinking the reward system to focus more on effort and participation rather than comparison.

Not really because I understand that you need to have as many kids as possible in the classes to keep the prices reasonable for all.
