KidStrong Virginia Beach has been an incredible addition to our lives and is quickly becoming the highlight of my six‑year‑old daughter’s week. From the very first free class, the environment felt organized, upbeat, and genuinely focused on helping kids build real‑world skills like confidence, independence, and teamwork, not just burning energy.In only two sessions, my daughter has already practiced age‑appropriate life skills (like learning how to properly set the table), worked through timed team challenges, and started improving her balance, coordination, and courage on changing obstacle courses. The coaches are energetic, clear, and consistent about listening, focus, and sportsmanship—reminding kids to put their “listening ears” on, spot differences on the screen as obstacles change, and cheer each other on so everyone feels included.The structure is fantastic for both kids and parents. There is an easy‑to‑use app for scheduling, the staff adjust classes quickly, and parents are encouraged to stay engaged on the sidelines, which keeps the kids motivated and connected. Each session ends with a brief award moment, photos, and recognition, plus a poster and stickers so kids can track progress in strength, skills, and confidence at home—my daughter has already started practicing her balance after class to “earn more stickers.”Most importantly, my daughter comes out saying it was “very fun,” feeling proud of herself, and already asking when she can go back. Even on the day she cried a bit for not getting an award, it became a lesson in resilience and celebrating others, and it will only make her next achievement more meaningful. Fun classes. Keeps kids engaged.

Coach Jess and coach Bri are absolutely amazing teachers! They are patient , and kind, and make the tasks so fun for the kids! We drive an hour every Tuesday just to have the classes with Jess and Bri, my son Alex loves the Tuesday classes and he is starting to really grow into a stronger, smarter , and braver boy!

It teaches a lot of fundamentals like respect and eye contact and working with others that kids do not get in most settings.
