Yes, it would have been nice to be understood rather than vilified for inquiring about cancelling. Maybe my son would have wanted to come back after some time away. Or perhaps I could have transferred the membership to a friend. But instead I was treated like an enemy.

Honestly, had the restarting of our plan been communicated as we were told and we could have extended our pause a little longer, we would have stayed. We will be restarting with a new location in January.
