Everyone was very hospitable towards me. I enjoyed the fact that everyone cared, and if they were not able to resolve my concerns then they would find the appropriate person who was knowledgeable to answer my questions. The doctors were very professional and they always included me about any changes that would slow down my recovery. I was a nice feeling to know that people still care and it made all the difference for me. I like the Physical Therapy staff the best. They were all very cheerful and made my workout time fun. I had a very nice experience with Kindred and I recommend this hospital to anyone looking to be around caring people.

My hospital stay at Kindred was great. I had several doctors who rounded on me daily, but my favorite was my Neurologist. He showed a caring approach and he took the time to listen to my questions and concerns. I enjoyed the nurses mostly because they were very easy to talk to. One of the CNA's, (Ashley) who took care of me very well and she was always good for a few laughs which helped me get through the day. Jackie and Claritia with physical therapy were great motivators. They pushed me respectively to help me get stronger, but they did not over do it. Last but not lease the occupational therapist allowed me to do more things on my own such as wash my hair and brush my teeth. Thank you Kindred. I give 5 stars.

I would like to give Kindred 5 stars mostly for having such good caring people. Everyone has been really good to me. The only thing I was not too crazy about was the Physical therapy. However, after it was explained to me the importance of keeping my body moving, I knew that if I wanted to get better that I would have to keep trying. My room got cleaned everyday and every night which was very much appreciated. Kindred has good kind hearted people and I am glad I was able to recover at this facility.

I've really enjoyed my hospital stay. My experience was over-the-top. They were several areas that stood out to me the most. First of all, the food was unbelievable!! I looked forward to having my meals everyday. The food was so good that I did not want to leave Kindred. I like how the Doctors rounded on me everyday, and they all put effort into building a relationship and getting to know more about me as person as well as treat my health conditions. The Doctors were very knowledgeable and they gave me good medical advice so that I can get back to being healthy and strong again. The CEO even said hi to me which was a nice gesture and it sets the example for others at Kindred. I noticed the nurses were very patient with me, which is a quality I admire. The CNA's did a spectacular job with me as well. Whenever I needed to be cleaned, they would take care of me in good timing and they never complained about it one time. The physical therapy (PT) personnel were great. I liked how Jackie (PT) got me prepared to go home on my last day as she helped me go up and down the stairs. This was good preparation because I use stairs in my home. The housekeepers worked well and was very meticulous about keeping my room clean. They would usually clean my room whenever I was on the floors with (PT), so it felt good coming back to a fresh clean room. Thank you all who helped me recover!!!

I feel that Kindred has taken care of me very well since I have arrived. Kindred has considered me a success story because I arrived on a life support machine not really knowing my fate. However, with the efforts from the team of doctors, nurses, and respiratory therapist who worked hard and focused on my plan of care, I was able to breathe on my own without the assistance of the life support machine. I made such great progress over time that I was able to have my tracheostomy airway removed. This was invigorating to me and as well and my self-esteem to continue to get stronger. I enjoyed working with the occupational therapist who came to see me often and made me think about how to function with my hands so that I can do simple things on my own again. I also appreciated the Physical Therapists who pushed me just enough, but they knew when to stop when my body was maxed out. I was amazed at myself when I had the chance to walk up and down the hallways. I felt like a brand new person all over again. I was impressed that every time I went walking with the Physical therapist, I would always come back to a clean room. The housekeeping staff was always on top of things. Kindred has a marvelous group of caring healthcare professionals who know what they are doing. I give Kindred 5 stars!!!

The people really made the difference for me throughout my hospital stay. I would like to give Kindred 5 stars for all of the wonder supportive staff. The physicians were attentive as always and the nurses attended to me very well. The CNA's treated me well and the physical therapy team was very outstanding. I have to give kudos to the Respiratory team for working with me daily and keeping me informed about the process of weaning off the ventilator. I was afraid when I arrived and I did not know what to expect. With a lot of encouragement and determination, I was able to wean off the ventilator machine. I also had my trach airway removed. I am a success story according to Kindred, but I know it would not be possible without the support and care from everyone. Finally I want acknowledge the housekeeping staff. I appreciate the cleanliness of my room on a daily basis. The housekeepers did a great job!!
