As I was going back to the exam room, the hygienist was asking questions about previous health issues and then asked to be excused to talk to someone else. He came back a nd said they wouldn't do the exam without my other two doctors sign off! Surprise!!! I thought that was already in my chart! Got the Forms to give to the doctors but had to reschedule! Wish this could have been resolved before the appointment but that’s life right?

The best part of my experience was having sarah clean my teeth. I have sensitive teeth, and I had much anxiety in anticipation of finding a new dental hygienist after moving to VA. She is awesome

It is getting tiresome to keep hearing that you are under staffed. Front office staff seems uninterested in patients beyond checking us in. They do not look at you and lack warmth.Your hygienist was great! She was friendly and efficient.Your dentist made a “drive by” visit and moved on like he was just checking another box. I’m not even sure what his purpose was in the entire process.

The dental hygienist suggested I should have cleanings at 3 month intervals, which my insurance covers, however, I am not even able to get appointments for 6 month intervals as there is never any availability. This presents a real problem. It takes longer to have my cleaning done, the hygienist gets frustrated, I get frustrated and it seems like this frustration on both ends could be avoided with increased staffing and more availability of appointments.

My next cleaning is for January 2027 so I will be only getting one cleaning in 2026. I would like my dentist to be able to provide two cleaning per year, so I may change providers. I also have a wife and two kids who go to your practice. If this is something you would like to discuss, you can call me.

The visit was good. This is more in reference to the reminder texts prior to the appointment. The text reminder leads with what my copay before telling me when my appointment is. This may send the wrong message when you place "what I owe" ahead of "we look forward to seeing you." Perhaps change this text to remind of the appointment first followed by what the co pay would be for this visit.
