Frank Paxton did an excellent job. He responded very quickly to our request for information sending a video and overview of the vehicle. We met within an a half hour and determined the Honda Passport which had just come in was perfect for us. Offered assistance in the future as we learn about the vehicle.

I have been bringing my family's fleet of cars to Larry Miller Honda for a couple of years now. I always found the place to be nice and pleasant while waiting for my services, but I never really delved into looking at the showroom until my last visit. My wife and I brought the van in for a service, and with our daughter going to get a license soon, I figured it was time to look into a replacement car for myself since she will get my current Civic. We started poking around, and there was a CRV on the showroom floor, along with some other models. I wondered about the fit and feel, as I am a larger guy, and was pleasantly surprised by the room it had for a mid size SUV. We left with our van after the service with a spark of interest in the possibility of adding one to our garage. After reaching over 100k with the van, it was time to make a decision. To either put money into the van for repairs/maintenance, or look into trading it in while downsizing as we no longer needed a vehicle the size of the van. With seeing the feel of the CRV during our last visit, we figured we should come down and test some vehicles, find out some more information first hand instead of relying on internet reviews. We arrived Saturday, and parked. We got out and headed towards the lot, looking at the variety of new and used CRVs and other models. We looked at colors, years, trim levels. We weren't too sure what it all meant. Not long after we were snooping around, we were approached by a pleasant gentleman named Frank. He introduced himself, and instantly the preconceived notion of brash and pushy salespeople were put away. Frank was attentive and informative, without trying to sway us into anything in particular. He listened to why we were there, and even though the possibility of not making a sale was still an option, he still spent the time with us that we needed to help make the right decision.Frank allowed us to poke and prod a few different trim levels and years of CRV. We even went out and test drove the Hybrid, and also drove a gas model for comparison. My wife and I quickly found differences between the two, and we were soon narrowing our decision based on the experience and the information from Frank. He also informed us of the advantages of getting a Used Certified versus a brand new model, which quickly became an option as there was a black one with only 5000 miles. Tempting, but we were not fans of all black. While we did bring the van with us in hopes of figuring out a trade in, we weren't quite ready to pull the trigger as the right color and year that we were leaning towards was not available at the time. Frank showed us what to look for, and guided us to the Larry Miller website and said to check it daily to see what pops up, as used models available can change day to day. So we left knowing so much more than when we arrived, and had someone we could reach to with any questions or concerns.Sunday came and I checked the site. Nothing new. The Black one with the Used Honda Certification that was a possibility was still there available, but we were holding out for a different color, so we waited.Monday came, and I checked the site. The used black one was no longer listed, which we were ok with. Black just wasnt going to work for us. However, when I checked the new listings, there was a Blue one that was not at the dealership Saturday. I messaged Frank since he had given me his number, and asked him about Ol' Blue. He said it just arrived, and he would set it aside for us to come down and check it out. So we quickly got thru the workday and got back out to the Dealership mid afternoon.Frank greeted us and drove us out to the back lot in the golf cart (highlight of the visit, btw). The blue was gorgeous. My wife and I quickly fell in love with the color. We got in and soon realized another difference we did not notice on Saturday. The CRV Sport-L is very different amenity-wise than the Sport. This blue one was a Sport, so it had cloth seats, which wasnt a deal breaker. However, the lack of electronics was. We still took it for a spin and quickly realized that we needed the power seats, the power liftgate, and yes, the leather seats. So then we decided to go inside and crunch numbers to get a better idea of the reality of picking up any CRV anytime soon.Patience is a virtue, and Frank has it. He spent the entire rest of the day with us, discussing options, the possibilities of a CRV arriving with all the exact things on our want list, and other options. Along with Ol' Blue, other CRVs had been delivered. A Silver one, Hybrid, Sport-L. So we went and checked that out. The silver was a nice alternative to the blue, and with it having everything we were looking for, it was not long before my wife had that look in her eyes. She liked it. A lot.So back to the desk, back to numbers, collecting info, talking with sales managers, going back and forth on trade in value, how much down, how low can we go... And in the end, we bought the Silver Bullet. It was a long process as car buying usually is. It should be, since its a lot of dotting i's and crossing t's. I appreciate how thorough the process is, and Frank, Clint, and Craig took their time to make sure we were comfortable with our decision, in a pressure free environment. We didn't just leave with our first ever new car, we also left with new friends. We had spent a lot of time over the past couple days with Frank, laughed, joked, and also learned so much. When the time comes for me to finally get a new car for myself when my daughter gets my current one, I will be giving Frank a call.

I decided to purchase a Honda CR-V Hybrid on July 20. I visited the dealership and worked with Richard, who helped locate the exact color I was looking for. He also ran my credit that day so we could complete the paperwork and finalize the purchase. However, I was told that the paperwork could not be completed until the vehicle was delivered, which was expected on August 4.On August 3, Richard contacted me to let me know that my vehicle had arrived earlier than expected. He even arranged an Uber to bring me to the dealership so I could pick it up that day.I arrived at the dealership around 4:10 p.m. with my 4-year-old daughter, excited to complete the process and drive home in my new vehicle. Unfortunately, what should have been a simple and enjoyable experience turned into a very frustrating one. After arriving, I waited for more than two hours before the finance manager called me in to complete the paperwork. To make matters worse, my credit was run two additional times that day, even though it had already been processed on July 20. I was never given a clear explanation as to why this was necessary. In total, I spent three hours at the dealership before finally leaving with my vehicle. What should have been an exciting and seamless purchase became a stressful and disappointing experience due to the excessive wait time, poor communication, and repeated credit inquiries.
