It is not super clear when maintenance is due on my vehicle. I tried being prepared, but the book really just reports when different fluids are checked and only notes they should be flushed/replaced when needed. This isn’t super helpful and I basically just got a generic answer about our weather being different here. I discussed the policy of asking me to change my brakes last visit and then offering 10,15 and then 20% after leaving. I was fortunate to get a discount up front to not go through that hassle, but still just got a generic message saying I needed 5 other fluid changes that were “mandatory” without explanation. If the book says they will be “evaluated” it would be good to know why it was determined they “failed” inspection. It seems like a money grab. Especially since prior associates told me just to wait until 60k miles because that’s when it’s really due. All in all, the associate Craig was nice and helpful, especially with the brakes.
