Very pleased with individual service from your staff, particularly our property manager. 2- slight niggles - sometimes communication between the staff is not so good, and the separation of functions to other offices (eg finance or legal matters) is difficult for us to understand.

I thought the two staff I met and who showed people around were very professional, smartly dressed and polite. They kept me in the picture and only showed people around who fitted the profile I had given them. They provided paperwork when promised and appear to have found me a good tenant. Job done. A good experience.

Overall I am satisfied with JSM. Some aspects have improved since the takeover of Goddards. Electronic document siganature is good. Using opt out methods to push ""value added services"" like additional insurance are not appreaciated. Staff don't seem as on top of things as previously (eg issues with plumbing repairs at Hyldon or water bills at Tower Road) and having a different contact for different properties and for marketing or admin of the property is confusing. Perhaps because it's never been said clearly who is responsible for what.

The overall service was good, we were living in Kent and my husband and I were relocating back to Suffolk so the staff had to work around when we were able to view the house and sign papers. Which we appreciated. The only down side was that they were not aware that there was an electric key box in the property and we only realized when my husband was showing his brother around and noticed it high up on the wall on the landing. Also the property has a water meter which we are still trying to locate, (we think the previous tenants have covered it over with a shed!!!) if we had this information when we moved in it would have been helpful. Perhaps this should be added to the prospectus when a property is advertised.

The agent was very helpful and negotiated the price to our and the landlord's satisfaction. He arranged the lease quickly so that we were able to move in before Christmas and he was friendly and courteous throughout the whole transaction.

When I transferred to Goddards from Masons I had one point of contact for all 3 of my properties.This is my preferred way of working as it gives me one point of contact and the feeling that there is some continuity.There was a problem when that person left on maternity leave as I never really knew who i should contact with queries.If there was a problem on my properties then it seemed that a different person contacted me each time.However,this problem resolved itself in that I have now have one person as my contact for all 3 properties and she is excellent.I deal with one other person from time to time on tenancy renewals and she is also excellent.I have not mentioned their names As you requested in your instructions I have not mentioned their names.So, in summary I am very happy indeed with the way in which my property letting and related matters are handled by the 2 people I have referred to.
