We have been letting our property with Leaders since 2014 and for the first 3 years the service we received was excellent. Transitions between tenants was always smooth and Leaders always kept us well informed of developments. However in 2017 the service we received was not to the high standards we had come to expect from Leaders. Our tenants moved out and during the process of identifying new tenants we were not updated regularly or there were no responses to queries, and several times we were provided with contradictory information and advice - for example, on rent we should set for the property. We discovered that 2 pieces of furniture were missing and Leaders were not able to locate them. Moreover we found out that tenants had been given the keys to the loft which is not meant to be accessible to tenants as it contains our personal items. We seriously considered choosing another agent to manage our property. Having said this, over the past few months the service has improved again. We are now happy with the service we are receiving and hope that this continues.

I initially met Selwyn of Leaders - Forest Hill, when he showed my husband and I around a flat. It was immediately apparent that he was a nice guy, and not at all interested in being a typical pushy letting agent. He was informative and seemed genuinely interested in what we were looking for. A week later we put in an offer on a property to let. Selwyn was out of the office that day but set up a whatsapp group to communicate with us through. Every question we had over the following 6 weeks was answered immediately. After we moved in, we were messaged again asking whether the flat was ok.
