Hi Steph..The staff are all very helpful and pleasant to deal with and my interactions with yourself have always been very positive on the occasions when we have met. As a new purchaser and Landlord in January 2017 I did feel at little surprised that the present tenant ( via Leaders ) did present a list of mainly small items,excepting the absence of a Landing Light for me to look at as an incoming new landlord.He had been a tenant since May 2016 under the previous owner Sam and upon request Leaders had no record of the tenant raising any of the items on his " attention List "before with yourselves under Sams ownership.The obvious note is that the tenant would have not had a Landing Light for the previous six months..and there have been a lot of dark nights between May-December yet it only gets flagged up in December when the sale was ongoing and not completed until 7th January 2017. Sam was able to sell without having to address these points. It seems that it has fallen to me to ,potentially , sort it out now as the new landlord.Some of the list items are minor but the tenant not knowing where the mains water stop-cock is located and the absence of a Landing light are the two main items on his wish list. Steph would you be able to consider an extension of my charge " free " period for and extra month as it looks like I will need the services of an electrician to provide a landing light and the associated work involved ?It would help mitigate the extra costs involved so early in me becoming a new,first time,landlord with yourselves.This reply is well on it's way to becoming a short story.I am otherwise happy.Kind regards
