The letting side of having our property let out again went very well. I was given good advice throughout the process and felt that the staff were working hard in regards to arranging viewings. The property was advertised quickly on-line, and I felt that Perry Bishop were as keen to have it rented out as I was. Unfortunately the property maintenance side of things let the process down a bit. Our house required some work to be done, and for this I felt I had to chase Perry Bishop to get the jobs done or my e-mails replied to, and occasionally my requests were not always followed through properly (e.g. quoting for new carpet for the whole house when I only required it for one room). However, all the jobs were eventually done, and we were pleased with them.

It is a comfort to have a letting agent with a good reputation managing my apartment. When there have been maintenance items reported to me, they appear to have been rectified in a timely manner and with one exception a few months ago, were dealt with quickly. As I mentioned when last surveyed, I would appreciate feedback from yourselves as to when a job has been completed rather than waiting to receive a bill or having to contact you for an update or find out whether work was necessary. it was my first time using a letting agency and I found the staff very helpful. the whole experience was very swift and very efficient.

My property became empty at the end of September, the property was checked by Leaders and I was told what work should be done and then quotes were arranged, all work was completed and then the property was marketed a tenant was found who could move in three weeks. The whole change of tenants took about 6 weeks which is ok, quicker would always be better. The thing that let Leaders down was the fact that I was told that the property was on Right Move and the Leaders web site when in fact it was not and nobody at leaders knew or had checked, people looking for property were not seeing my property. The reason I checked it was on the internet is that your Cheltenham branch had done the very same thing to a friend of mine and many weeks went by before he noticed and brought it to their attention, a simple mistake but a potentially a costly one to your landlords.

The agency has always been friendly and effecient .
