LearnWell is great to work with. Communication is always an area where things could improve but it is likely true on both sides :)

The program is still new for our facility. The staff and leaders are continuing to get to know the teacher and the expected process. I would like to see more schools contract with LearnWell so that students are afforded the ability to work on their own school work. Also would like to see lesson plans submitted to the nurse leader so that they can be aware of the curriculum and what is being taught to the students. Last, is there a survey for the students or the teachers to complete on the program to provide feedback to you?

Nothing additional to report at this time. Our LearnWell teacher, Desirea, continues to do an outstanding job. Clients consistently provide positive feedback about her, and staff who work alongside her also speak very highly of her. She has developed strong rapport with the clients and is a valued member of the TRL team.

Finalize contracts with Texas schools and have full clarity of what that means for students in terms of school credit

Communication is great between me and the manager of teaching operations; however, communication could be better with the educators that are on site. I feel LearnWell is a great program that offers structure and education to our child and adolescent population and i would definitely recommend them to other inpatient facilities.
