I’m a car dealer from the south I purchased two cars of James child Belfast , one car was a Lexus and I was due vat money £2,916.50, the sales man James child has been giving me the runaround for a year now , and as hung up the phone on me today once I questioned him about it , he told me he required the Irish paper work and vrt documents , so the car has been in stock for a year and only sold this week , so I could only provide him with the required paper work he requested this week , Iv sent it on to him and he’s questioning me why the paperwork is in different person name , reason for this is because when we sell a car and vrt (vehicle registration tax) we vrt into customers name direct so another owner does not go onto the Vechicle, can I please get an update on this asap because from start to finish dealing with James Child Lexus Belfast has been a nightmare , for a professional sales man to hang up the phone and be rude to someone who spent almost 30,000 with him it’s not one bit nice ,

purchased car last year, from day one, when exported car to south. salesman expressed would return the VRT they had paid. Rang the office today and salesman has ignored me all week and has been rude and unprofessional to myself and i have the messages and emails to prove this.When i called through to the sales department and spoke to the guy that sold me the car he said does your phone do this and hung up the phone. I have all the proof on phone recordings and communication and i am happy to take legal action for this

Normally I deal with Lexus Milton Keynes who have been exceptional.Went to view a car at Lexus Belfast, paid a £250 deposit to reserve it and in the end decided not to progress with the purchase.After informing Lexus Belfast about this over email I didn’t receive any response or follow up communication.It has now been over two weeks and they seem to have decided to keep my money as I have yet to receive my deposit back.

As usual we were greeted with warmth and politeness. Coffee and tea were offered which was very much appreciated.We have been dealing with a lovely gentleman named Karl since buying our first Lexus.Karl is great to deal with from pricing to a demonstration of the vehicle we are interested in purchasing .Since owning a Lexus we have had nothing but comfort and great driving.

Excellent customer service as always from Lexus Belfast.Karl was really helpful in explaining the offers that were available to me, great communication keeping me updated and responding promptly to any queries I had .

Not willing to negotiate

I recently test drove a used Lexus ES300. It was arranged through Matthew. He was extremely helpful and I would not hesitate in contacting him in the future if another vehicle catches my interest. Thank you.

Overall my experience has been positive. My enquiry was handled in an efficient manner and I particularly appreciated the personal video presentation by James. Any questions I had were answered and I was given space and time to think about was and is essentially a considered purchase.
