Lexus, but Lexus Derby let it down a bit, the salesman was a bit "old school" and addressed me rather than my wife, despite the fact that she was buying the car, which I found inappropriate in 2017. This particular salesman also had poor personal hygiene, he smelled of b.o., and had halitosis as well, which, combined with the undercurrent of chauvinism, made the experience a little unpleasant. For Derby not to have kept us waiting until Monday for the car, because of the salesman happened to be off work, and not to have kept us on hold for so long on the Lexus Insurance line, in order to register the car for the 3 day insurance.

They supplied me with the wrong car that I ordered. Supplied me with the right car, as ordered. And not forced me into the situation where I had to catch a bus.

The whole experience was first class, there was no pressure, the explanations were very good, the salesman was very thorough and we were given the car to test drive for the whole afternoon, which was invaluable, and also enabled us to make a more informed decision. The staff were very unobtrusive as well, we were treated like adults and the facility itself was very good. Nothing

The car is now just over a year old and for most of it's life there has been an issue with the paint work on one of the doors and front bumper. Derby Lexus are aware of this and so are your Burton Toyota body shop where the car has been twice, this is a issue with marks that have appeared under the lacquer as the car has a Pearlescent finish. Despite many phone calls and visits and a problem that everyone seems to know what when I mention it nothing seems to be happening to resolve this issue. Address the on-line paint issues with the car. Don't promise to do something and then not do it be that to call someone back or to arrange something to happen that doesn't. I bought 4 Audi's before this Lexus and left the brand as customer service levels fell and you seem to matter less and less to them.

I've dealt with Lexus for 15 to 20 years now and have always found their dealerships, such as Glasgow, very good, but Derby were exceptional, and Alfred the salesman was particularly attentive. My husband has Parkinson's and Alfred helped us very much with certain vehicle issues/fittings? regarding that. Nothing
