I bought a car from you on 18th April, while on the journey home multiple warning came up on the dashboard and several hubcaps fell off.We spoke to the Sam from the sales team and he told us to take it to a local VW garage and Lookers would pay for the corrective work.On inspection by VW they discovered that the car was completely unroadworthy, 2 of the tyres had been fitted inside out and many of the onscreen warnings meant the vehicle could not be driven safely.VW have now had the car for 7 weeks, within lookers things have been handed over to Gareth, who i believe is head of Dealership, unfortunately I have not been able to contact Gareth by phone as I am told he is 100/% of the time in a meeting.I am now constantly chasing between VW and Lookers to get the work done and to get work approved, I don’t feel this should be left to me.this is completely unacceptable and we have today requested a full refund or return of the car on Monday, I have sent this to Gareth by email, as again when i rang he was in a meeting.

I have been looking for a used Vauxhall 1.2 turbo so I contacted Lookers Star city. I saw one on the website YO74 XLF Black with 2800 mlies. So I arranged to go and see it. Within a matter of a couple of hours I had a phone call from sales that the milage was wrong and there instead of 2800 it was 9105mls. I was not very happy so I was told in had been on courtesy what ever that means. I decided to go for another car, same model a bit older. I arranged to go and see the car YS74 ZTD this morning only to find the car was not on site. I asked the salesman where it was and he said it was on courtesy and he did no know where it was. I traveled down to Lookers for nothing I had no phone call from them to not to come. So these cars will have more milage on the clock than the website states. I have now been let down twice by the sales team and to be honest with you I have had a few Vauxhalls Star City since the 1990's. I take a dim view to the way I have been treated and the pratice of advertising the cars with a certain value and milage and then to find that the car you want to buy has now got more milage on it does not seem right.

am afraid I am very irritated by doing business with BYD.I had a leased Tesla before and it was enjoyable and rewarding experience.I signed a contract for leasing BYD via NHS fleet solutions in UK in march 2026.The delivery date was May then pushed to July. Then august!I called Lookers the BYD on 0191 298 15395 times and the said they emailed china to find out why no car has been allocated yet to my order!Substandard company shouldn’t be working in Europe.I just keep getting will ask china and come back to you but no body comes back To me.Terrible service.Dr.Elassaly00447780001016

I purchased a vehicle, DL23 ZSR in March 2026. Upon driving home I noted that the steering wheel was wonky and not aligned, I am unsure of the reason to this. I immediately made the sales rep aware, and asked if this could be rectified at a closer lookers to my home address. I have since sent numerous contact forms to Lookers Ellesmere Port and numerous follow up emails to various people at Lookers Birmingham and have received absolutely no response whatsoever. The vehicle still holds the same issue 4 months on as the day I brought it.

I have raised this complaint after repeated follow-ups regarding the unresolved reimbursement for the windscreen replacement on vehicle LD73WRA. The matter has been ongoing for several weeks, and despite being told it had been passed on and would be chased, I have not received a clear response or reimbursement. The invoice has already been provided, and I am seeking a straightforward reimbursement of the £420.00 cost relating to LD73WRA.

Hello,Thank you for the delivery of the vehicle.The driver arrived early morning on Friday 30th January. He reported that there was a noise he heard which he stated he reported to your staff at the time of taking the vehicle.I noted this sound same day and messaged Mr Phil about it.I noted that this vehicle was advertised as 6000 miles, but it was 7300+ on delivery.Today, an engine sign has appeared on the dashboard. There is a message regarding cooling system malfunction.I have attached photos for more information. I will no longer feel comfortable to drive this vehicle.Alphera financial Services (Agreement number 4384387) please be informed of this complaint.Despite the delay in delivery this vehicle, I remain inconvenienced by it.
