The person who helped me was called Mitch, and he was extremely helpful and extremely knowledgeable. He tried very hard to get me the car that I wanted.

I booked my appointment over the telephone as a lady called from the Newcastle team who organise services etc. I advised that I was told by the salesman at the time of purchasing my car that the courtesy check was free. She said that there was normally a charge but she would check. She did so with Lookers of Colchester. She came back and confirmed that Lookers of Colchester would honour this as the salesman I had dealt with had now left. I advised her of a problem that appeared on my dashboard and she said that she would put this down to be dealt with at the same time as the courtesy service. When I took the vehicle in there was no mention of this error and I was also questioned about the free service. I was told that they would have to look into this as "someone needs to pay for it". When I was advised that the car was ready I was questioned again about the free service. Is there any point in the Newcastle team contacting me and arranging appointments and dealing with queries if they do not pass the information on to my local service department?
