On arrival we was excited to see and test the car we hoped to purchase and maybe take home. Sales man was polite and showed us the car, I started the car and I thought the engine did not quite sound right🤔 . I pointed this out the the sales and he agreed but responded I’m not sure what it is. He suggested we could still take the car for test drive so we did. We stopped after a short time to listen to the engine and the noise was still there. Based on our uncertainty concerning the noise we left disappointed. I would have thought when you have booked an appointment at a certain time to see a car you would expect checks have already been done.If they had been we would not had a waisted journey.

To whom it may concern,Good evening I am a recent customer who gets my car serviced by your dealership in Colchester every year, I've had no issues over the past years until my most recent service, having spent close to £500 for my service usually my car is cleaned before I pick it up, this time it wasn't, just for my own peace of mind if you could clarify if your policy has changed that would be appreciated. Additionally, the call I got from the person on the phone was delightful and informative, in person the service advisor on the desk was uninformed and rather grumpy, don't get me wrong we all have bad days but it doesn't make a good impression on a customer when the service advisor who your expected to give your keys to is unapproachable. I did have the intention to book my car in next January for a service, cambelt, aux belt, coolant change, and high-pressure fuel pump gasket to be replaced, as all of the issues mentioned above, I can take with a pinch of salt, the one thing that has really put me off being certain I am booking my car in with yourselves is having received 4 follow up calls with fairly persistent staff wanting me to complete a survey, the last person to call me was actually really respectful and when I said I haven't got time to talk understood and didn't force the conversation to continue. But the previous ones have made it a mission to annoy me into filling out a survey, there is no need for that many follow up calls it borders on harassment, I think the customer should be allowed to make their own decision on whether or not they'd like to take your survey not badgered into it, as you can imagine the survey I filled out was not given in a positive light. This has probably been the biggest factor in my hesitation towards rebooting my car in with yourselves for any further work, I really like the ford products and currently have a VW transporter I was playing with the idea of purchasing a ford transit from yourselves but honestly with my recent experience it doesn't make me want to invest any further money with yourselves, even though I prefer the ford product over the Volkswagen product, as I live in Colchester and always use main dealers for anything I require and I've never had a bad experience with Volkswagen. I just think this is something to reflect on I'm attempting to give honest feedback without being biased, granted I don't think you can ever fully please everyone but I wouldn't say my complaint is unreasonable, I hoping you can give me some sort of reassurance that if I were to rebook my car in with yourselves my experience would be different and pleasant with no need for uninvited phone calls pressuring me into filling in a survey when I am work rather than letting me do it in my own time. I will have to give some real thought on whether I will continue to use your services as your conveniently located near me or whether I have to go out of my way to another group for future work. I would honestly really like for there to be a simple resolution to this so I can continue to use your services as it's convenient for me however I'm sure you can understand my trepidation as someone who is looking at spending thousands for the work mentioned above and even more if I were to buy another vehicle, as an experience that was only £500 was rather unpleasant doesn't make want to spend more for a similar experience.King regards,Nelson Rosas

Ongoing issues with the first car l purchased which ended up with it being substituted eventually for the present one! This one has had on going issues with FOS brake issues that still remain unresolved after four visits.

Just like last time after a service, I am hounded by numerous calls and emails . Even this email doesn’t allow you to unsubscribe on the link. Please do as you confirmed you had last year.Your post sale procedure undoes all the good experiences on the day.

Asked a simple question and it was ignored and the heavy sales tactics started. Had to ask a further twice before I got the answer. I was enquiring about a explorer on Autotrader and if PCP was available. In the end I just said I was now fixed up, this didn’t even get a friendly response, just ended the conversation. I will go elsewhere but at least it stopped those nonsense communications that didn’t help me with my original query.

Excellent service ..Full marks .pleasing and very helpful people at colchester Ford garage. Top marks
