Very helpful but just couldn’t find the car that I required

When the car was delivered to me in November I noticed a chip in the windscreen, one of the alloy wheels had the coating coming off and on of the washer jets didn’t work. I called the dealership within 10 minutes to let them know and I was assured these would to sorted.A few days later I was asked to take the car to any garage to get the washer jets fixed and they would reimburse me for that. I took it to a garage I usually use and they fixed it for no charge to me or Lookers. After several further emails and calls I was eventually asked to take the car to a wheel repair shop to get the wheel re-coated that was completed on the 20th January.On 21/01/26 a windscreen company came to me to repair the windscreen, they told me that the chip has already been repaired, meaning there is nothing further they can do. They also advised that the damage sits within Zone A and, due to its location, can be distracting for the driver which I said it does ‘catch my eye’ when I’m driving.Had I been informed about the chip prior to purchasing the car, I would have requested that the windscreen be replaced. If Lookers had declined prior to me buying the car, I would not have proceeded with the purchase.

Mitch – Lookers sales man for second hand cars. January 2026He had a nice manner about him, pleasant and cordial until he thought he wasn’t getting his finance commission and then he changed.• He didn’t call me or tell me he had sent the quotes.• Changed his tone and greeting on the phone. Not directly rude but it felt unpleasant.• Didn’t call me back with further information.He has now ghosted me which is very rude and has done a lot of damage to Lookers and Fords.You have also lost the sale of a car. I hadn’t decided between a new Puma or a second hand one, now I am definitely not getting either from you.

Not a fair deal offered. Didn't like the way we were dealt with. Went to another Lookers and the total experience totally different and positive.Bought a car from them and would definitely go back to buy future cars.Would not go back to Colchester.

Dear SirsI purchased the above vehicle from Colchester on 3.12.2025 from Conor Cutmore.On inspection of the vehicle when we brought it home we noticed that the front grill was cracked - I telephoned Connor who told me that he would speak with the manager and get back to me. No telephone call was received.Approximately 1 week later Conor delivered the 2nd key to the vehicle and I pointed out the cracked front grill to him - he asked me to take pictures - why couldnt he have taken pictures? That same week my husband washed our new car and noticed that there are white paint specs all over the car & windscreen not visible under normal circumstances.I went back to the garage and saw another sales person - I pointed out the problems and he took photos and said he would send them to Conor and the manager of Colchester.Christmas came and went - still no contact. I telephoned Conor in the New Year 10.01.2025 and complained about these issues - he promised to get back to me. Again no call came.On Saturday 17.01.2025 we went back to the garage. Conor was off sick and the same sales person I saw back in December tried to help us out. He assured me that the photos he originally took had been sent to Conor and the manager and was very angry as he had been told that the situation had been sorted - well clearly it hasnt.Can you please look into this complaint and find a resolution to our problem.Many thanksMichelle Cain07871703039

Very impressed with the set up and the information and help Chloe gave us - she spent a long time with us going through the options available. It's just a shame, there wasn't a car for us!
