Received a phone call from Connor, he said he was going to call me back on the Wednesday/ Thursday. Which would have been 1st 2nd October still no phone call.I'm still thinking about a new car. Colchester lookers Ford still have car I'm interested in if they can do me a good deal on mine?Kind regardsMr M Porter

We had our Ford C- Max EO65 OHT serviced on 11-12 August and it required a replacement drivers side powered wing mirror. We paid £100 deposit and expected to have it fitted promptly. We phoned for an update twice and six weeks later we were still waiting? Fords said it was a “Back order” ! By this time we really needed to have the new mirror fitted and managed to source one online, so cancelled the order with Lookers via Chloe Farmer. We were assured that the £100 deposit would be refunded. To date we haven’t heard anything from Lookers regarding the refund and we’re getting concerned about it. Please can you chase this up as soon as possible. Many thanks from Kevin & Susan O’Brien

Initially I tried to contact b through online chat which was extremely slow. Then Alan stepped in and he was extremely helpful. Also involved were George and Emma. However I gave them all the details including my monthly budget. But all the prices I got back were way over tbat figure and therefore disappointingly I was unable to accept any of tbe deals provided. Lastly I thanked all of them for their involvement, but never heard from them.

Awful

Dear Sirs>> I would be grateful if you could please send my email to the most appropriate person.>> It is concerning the above car which we purchased on 5th October 2024.>> We purchased this from your Colchester branch. It had been used as a courtesy vehicle and so it could not be released to us until you were comfortable it had been serviced and any required safety works carried out.>> Immediately after purchasing the car we noticed a noise when it was reversing. We got back in touch with the person who sold us the car to be told we should take it to John Grose and have it looked at under warranty.>> We did that and on 28th October John Gorse fitted new rear break shins, under warranty.>> The problem however persisted and so we got back in touch with John Grose and arranged again for the car to be seen by them.>> During this time it was inconvenient with work and young children to arrange for the car to be taken to John Grose and for us to be without a car.>> John Grose came and collected the car on 16th December but they informed us they were unable to hear the noise. The way that this was dealt with made me very conscious of continuing to raise the matter, despite the problem still persisting. The stress and anxiety of having to take the car again meant we left it for some time.>> Over the next few months we had some difficult family matters which meant I was either not capable of arranging another inconvenience of being without the car, or when we did take it for its MOT and Service that I was not confident enough to raise this again.>> The problem still persists and now that I am in a position to raise> this again we took it back to John Grose on 20 September. They located the problem being badly corroded break discs and pads, advising the fix would be new discs and pads at a cost of approximately £550.>> We are very unhappy having been sold a car with this issue, one that we immediately raised with your sales representative and was handed off to the main dealer.>> We would be very grateful if you could please consider this issue and arrange for new discs and pads to be fitted, at your cost.>> I’d be grateful if you could please confirm receipt of my email and confirm this matter is being reviewed.>

The consultant who we met, Ben MacMahon, we extremely helpful, very professional in his approach and provide good advice. He wasknowledgeable with the products and the car and help walk through the process and selecting the right car based on our requirements.
