Hello,I have put a review on Trustpilot and was asked to contact yourselves to explain the issues I have been having with my car, and the amount of time it takes to get an issue fixed with my car.I purchased the car in March and was not happy with the valeting it was given, the guy who sold me the car said he had just valeted it himself, the smell was overpowering and had to drive with the windows down. I complained about this to no avail, and I told him that it had not been cleaned properly. So, he told me to bring the car back on 15th July and they would clean it properly and he also said that the tyres needed to be looked at so he could do them at same time. However, when I called to collect the car, he said that the person was not in who dealt with tyres and I could take it back the following week. This I did, I also mentioned that the air con was not working, and he just said it would need filling. I would have presumed all of this would have been done ready for us when we had bought the car? Then a warning light came on the car for tyre pressure management. Got another date of 25th September, took the car down they had it all day and when I went to pick it up, they told me they did not have the part, and I would have to book it in again! Got another date of 28th October to take the car down to garage. Then received a call the night before to tell me that the person who was fixing the car was not in and to book the car in again. So when I called, guess what, get another date of 8th December! This is just totally unacceptable, the time frames for booking a car in is ridiculous. For one simple issue I have had to wait over 3 months. I am a very disappointed customer, from what should have been a great experience has turned into a nightmare.I have copied a couple of emails regarding the tyre situation that I received from Syed who sold me the car.I do not know what can be done to rectify my disappointment to be honest.Sincerely,Tracey.From: Tracey PlummerSent: 23 April 2025 08:45To: Syed AliSubject: Ford pumaHi syedI am back at work today but am on a phased return so will be finishing work at 2pm.Please let me know if this is a convenient time to drop the car off if the guy will still be there checking tyres. You never got back to me yesterday so presumed you could not get a replacement car.If you could keep me updated i would appreciate it.Many ThanksTraceyThis email message and any documents accompanying it are private and confidential and may be legally privileged. Initial offer for my car was low so balance was more than planned. Then offer for my car went up again and again over a couple of days. Where my car valuation went up by about £1500 if the original offer was more like that offer originally a deal may have been done. I have since ordered another car from another dealer who offered me on the first attempt practically the same as your final offer on my car.

I recently had some work done on my car . It was originally booked in for a day but the work eventually took seven days. Idid have a courtesy car so this didnt impact me unduly. This isn't the complaint, though. When I brought it in, the 50 miles of fuel remaining warning light came on just before I got to the garage. As it was only in for a day this wasn't a problem, I'd just fill up on my way back at my usual garage. However when I picked the car up the warning light was on showing 2 (two) miles remaining! I wasn't warned at reception so its very lucky I looked and didn't just ignore the warning beeps. This can't be normal to send a car out with 2 miles remaining when it came in with 49 for work to be done? If I hadn't noticed then I would have run out of fuel and been left stranded.Luckily there is a, rather expensive, fuel station just round the corner. I didn't go in to complain as I was in a hurry to pick up a friend. As it was in an mot was carried out (which was booked in for 2 weeks after) which i asume you got permission for from motability. I was informed of this but i hadn't realised that this was before the 2 month window so has resulted in the mot losing 2 month and 8 days. 'Not my problem' as its a motability car but it does seem a shameThe above then colours the rest of my observationsWhen I picked up my friend who also has a motability car for his wife I told him he was obvious amazed. As the conversation progressed he was also surprised that after such a long tome in it hadn't been valeted inside or the battery fully charged as the stop_start was below chargeI would like your input before I replied to the motability questionnaire as I think this is only fair.
