I can't fault my experience with Lookers Gateshead. The whole experience was seamless and professional. I would like to give a special thanks to Jordan who sorted out my service plan and helped to rectify a fault I wasn't even aware of. It has restored my faith in Lookers following a very bad experience with Lookers South Shields. I have complained previously about this but in addition to my previous complaint about them I was only aware my car had not been serviced when I bought it when my engine oil warning came on and I was prompted to investigate. I would have thought my car would have had a service to be sold. Thinking about it my tyre warnings came on for all 4 tyres about 6 weeks after I bought the car. Again indicating general maintenance hadn't even been looked in to. I haven't done many miles since getting the car so that cannot account for the oil issue. I also don't recall getting any paperwork saying I had Ford assist when I bought the car. Again further evidence of the lack of care and slap dash approach to my car handover. But Lookers Gateshead were excellent so if their sales department are as conscientious as their service I would be happy to give them my custom in the future.

The suggested charge to identify the source of a problem was not charged, I can only assume that this was because the issues was identified very quickly and able to be fixed. As a customer, this is always appreciated.

I have a Plan My Service agreement and this includes collecting and returning my vehicle when being serviced. When I ring Ford to book a date I am advised to bring in my vehicle instead of being asked if I have the agreement in place. When I explain that the service manager at Gateshead agreed to collect and return my vehicle previously I wait until your Ford staff rep confirms this. There is no reason why this should happen. I must say that the staff at Gateshead are excellent and the process was carried out superbly by them but Ford booking should be updating my account to stop this happening again.

There wasn't a big enough choice. Your staff were excellent but your stock of cars very small.
