Dear Sir/MadamI am raising a formal complaint regarding my Ford Focus, which I purchased brand new from Lookers Ford Leeds in November 2024. The vehicle has since developed persistent electrical and transmission faults since February 2025 and has now been diagnosed as requiring a complete transmission replacement at only 7650 milesFault history and diagnosis failures:The vehicle has been in Ford garages repeatedly with the same issues. A full chronology is as follows:* February 2025 – Lookers Ford Leeds: Low battery warning; battery charged overnight.* March 2025 – Stoneacre Ford Harrogate: Transmission fault (vehicle would not go into gear)+ low battery warnings; battery replaced.* Sep-Oct 2025: Intermittent low battery warnings continued and end October again transmission fault, stranded.* 13November 2025 – Stoneacre Harrogate: Transmission fault + persistent low battery warnings; assessed and battery recharged.* 4 December 2025 – Stoneacre Harrogate: Battery replaced and battery sensor replaced.* 19 January 2026: Transmission fault; car would not engage gear; stranded.* 22 January 2026: Vehicle assessed again and transmission replacement required.Despite multiple opportunities to identify this issue earlier, the underlying fault was not diagnosed, leaving me with an unreliable and unsafe vehicle for over a year. The fact that a major transmission failure has now emerged after repeated repair attempts suggests the issue has been present for some time.On several occasions I have been left stranded due to transmission failures. This has resulted in:* Lost income (unable to reach work)* Vehicle rental and transport costs while repairs are ongoingThis is not acceptable for a brand-new vehicle under warranty.Given the repeated failures, major component replacement, and misdiagnosis over an extended period, the vehicle is:* Not of satisfactory quality* Not fit for purpose* Not durableI am therefore seeking a suitable remedy as set out under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.I request either:* Rejection of the vehicle and a full refund, or* A replacement vehicle of equivalent specification free from fault.

I was leased a vehicle that has had faults since day one. Despite being sent by Lookers to an Audi garage for repairs, the problem has not been fixed. I have repeatedly requested to return the car due to these persistent issues, but my requests have either been declined or ignored.

Great service from start to finish Eros was a great guy made the whole process easy and found me a great deal and a posh car well done and thank you

Your caller stated my car needed a service. Then when I challenged the service intervals, I was rudely told it was not a service they were trying to sell me, it was an inspection to keep the Ford breakdown up to date so the service did not expire. Even though the email clearly states a service not an inspection.

Message wasnlt passed thorugh for a call back to discuss 2 cars.sales man took scribbled notes - nice guy but that as very unprofessional and was the reason the message didnt get pased on when he was out the offcie when I neededth acall back - we have now bought 2 x Nissan JukesI did message to say don;lt bother calling and, to be fair, at that piount m n=got a very swift call back and apology which, whilst to late to save any potential deal, was appreciated.We like the Puma and would hav eneeded 2 - maybe Ringways next time

Initially communication was very good. As it became clear that my budget wasn’t moveable communication dropped and despite saying they would get back to me, they didn’t.

I’ve got a Nissan E power qashqai from lookers Leeds branch in February 2025 on Motobility , which I paid an extra £2,800 for top of range . Since May it has failed to start 3times, 2 batteries fitted, main screen going blank and wings mirrors not working having to wait 5days to get it booked in with no screen , no loan car so obviously reached stage where I’m making a complaint to you

I made an enquiry about the price of a car with the possible consideration to buy. The sales staff did not come back to me with a response to questions I asked him about, in fact I phoned him 24 hours later and he still did not have the answers. When I asked if there was any movement in the price he could not answer and went to try and find a manager. I am very surprised and disappointed about the lack of response.
