I dropped my daughter’s mobility car in for a m.o.t on Tuesday 30th June . After 10minutes I was called to say that an issue I had raised [ a pet seatbelt was stuck in middle seatbelt ] would maybe cost £120 to remove ! I expressed my concern that it was an awful lot of money the lady said they would do all they could to remove it without any cost . She then said it would fail it’s M.O.T if the work wasn’t done. We are collecting a new car on Monday so need a M.O.T !On collection we were told the cost was £120 for removing the seat belt and this was for half an hours labour. This seems an excessive charge for removal of a seat belt ! I was told mobility wouldn’t pay as it was my error , which is fair enough but to be charged this amount does not seem fair

Good afternoon,We were sold this car with a missing service history that we were not informed about. This has only come to our attention recently when the car went into Kia at Stockport for a sensor replacement. We questioned this with the Sales Manager Joshua Deaville and also Lee Barnes who both promised us on numerous occasions they would sort this out and take ownership of the issue for us. When we bought the car from James at Stockport Kia, he said it had full service history. We were never made aware it has missing and late services. If we would have known this we would not have purchased the carMy last correspondence by email to Kia Stockport we still have not had a reply or even an acknowledgement. We would like you to take this email as a formal complaint and look forward to hearing from you within 3 working days.We would also like a quick resolution to this, as this has been going on for many weeks now, with very little responses from Kia Stockport unless we contact them.Donna & Ray OliverO775341163707871046319

My vehicle passed its MOT on 23 June. While sitting in my car after the appointment, I noticed that the "Service Required" notification had not been reset. I brought this to your assistant's attention and asked for the issue to be rectified immediately. Instead, I was offered a new appointment. As this was an error on the part of your service department, I do not believe it is reasonable to expect me to spend additional time returning to your service centre to have it corrected.Your assistant was very courteous, but I appreciate that he was probably not in a position to do anything differently. I believe your procedures for handling situations like this should be reviewed. In addition, my car has always been washed after each MOT appointment. On this occasion, however, it was not. Has there been a change in your policy?

Dear KIA Team,I hope you're having a good week.I'm writing to follow up on my KIA Sportage BU67 YXC, I was expecting the diagnostic report days back and I haven't received it yet,This is 7 days passed since I dropped my car at Lookers Stockport.I rely on this car daily, so I really need a clear timeline on when it will be ready. Could you please let me know the status of the report as soon as possible?Thank you for your help.Best regards,M Z Ako

Dear Kia Lookers Stockport Customer Service Team,I am writing to make a formal complaint regarding the ongoing issues with my vehicle and the lack of support I have received.I have only had the car for three months, yet it has already had to return to the garage once. I am now in a position where I am paying monthly for a vehicle that I am unable to use, which is extremely frustrating and unacceptable. And I was extremely disappointed to find out that it was not even inspected for a full two days after you had possession of it. During this time no engineer or technician had looked at the vehicle, meaning no progress was made despite my car being in your workshop.I work NHS night shifts and rely on my vehicle to carry out my work, including home visits. Due to my car being unavailable and no courtesy vehicle being provided, I have had to cancel home visits, causing disruption to both myself and the people who rely on my service. I also had a hospital appointment that you were aware of, and the lack of transport has caused additional stress and inconvenience.I am disappointed that, despite being a paying customer and having had the vehicle for such a short period, I have not been offered a courtesy car or a suitable alternative to allow me to continue working and manage essential commitments.I would like this matter escalated and would appreciate an urgent response explaining:• Why a courtesy vehicle has not been provided in my circumstances.• What steps are being taken to resolve the issues with my car.• What support or compensation will be offered for the inconvenience and disruption caused.I look forward to receiving a prompt response and a satisfactory resolution.Yours sincerelyVicky Nolan

I took my car in for a service and MOT today (19th June) to Kia Stockport. This is a 30 mile there, 30 mile back trip for me. 45 mins each way. I was told when I got my keys back after the service and MOT, that my car had been cleaned and vacuumed and that is why people choose to get their car serviced/MOT at Kia Stockport. We also pay a service package. When I arrived at my car, my car had not been cleaned on the outside or vacuumed on the inside as the staff had told me, and as is advertised as what is done. My car in fact, especially on the inside, was left dirtier than it was before I took it in. As it was a Friday at 5pm, and the staff seemed to be already leaving, and I’d been told the latest to pick up my car was 5pm, I thought I couldn’t go back in and discuss this issue. It was also raining, so I didn’t manage to take pictures of the outside of the car, but I do have pictures of the inside, filthy.I was told that one of the main reasons we pay the service plan and get the MOT at Kia Stockport is because of this car valet perk. This was not provided, which leaves me to wonder why we have been paying a service plan or getting an MOT here when this basic service can be done anywhere.I was explicitly told that my car had been washed and vacuumed by your staff.I want to know, how this issue will be rectified.I have already wasted fuel money and a whole working day to get this car serviced/MOT’d for them to do a half job.

cust took the car in 17.06.26 for a service through he cust service plan. When dropped the vehicle of told they didnt have enough money in the pot and would need to pay £100 odd pound. Dealership blamed EMAC cust asked the dealership to call EMAC to log a complaint. Cust not heard anything so called EMAC and they advised it would be down to the dealership. First one set up was 40 odd a month second service plan went to 6.99 a month.next plan went to 20 odd and in july but it should have been august as the last one hadnt finished. Cust complained and then another plan started in the September. Cust then had o now pay 128 on the day and it not happy with all of this.

cust paid a deposit £250 on 02.06.26 via her credit card.10.06.26 the cust advised she is not going ahead with the purchase. The cust was asked for her bank details which she shared with the sales person Jordan Edwards.

Hello, at Kia Stockport branch, sales manager on purpose give us wrong information at the first meeting on the 16th May 2026 for Kia Sportage GT-line under registration number MW25 YPH for the price of 28,190 pounds, even he said as our loyalty to our customers we do extra work such as body paint protection and anti stain seat protection at no extra cost, even two or three times I asked him at no extra cost? he keep confirm it, so I have paid 250 pounds and 9,750 pounds, but after couple days we received Scrive message forms to signing , we find out the extra services added to the main price!!! So after I rejected extra cost following to procedure it suppose be ready on the bank holy day 25th of May 2026 as he promised, even I insured the car starting from 25th and take two more days off for travel with new car, but car wasn't ready up to 28th of May, so for this keep misleading not only I didn't signed also I have give up and asked my full money back, so sales manager gave me an email on the 28th to request formal notice for full refund of 10,000 pounds, so still no respond to my email and no money refund it yet.

Thursday 11th June 2026.Lookers Kia, Stockport,Mersey St, St. Marys Way, Stockport SK1 2HU.RE: Complaint regarding a newly purchased vehicle. Reg: MA71 VBG.Dear, Scott Innes,I am writing to formally log a complaint regarding the Kia Sportage purchased from your dealership on 29th September 2025, with the registration MA71VBG.Vehicle sold to me under invoice/receipt reference 1610037546.Since taking possession of the vehicle I have experienced the following problems. My first return visit was the week ending 14th November 2025, where I had to go into the showroom to get the battery replaced in the car key which I had to pay for at £5.80.The following week, Tuesday 18th November 2025, I started the car at home and noticed a noise which was not present earlier. I returned the car and left it there for 2 days, at my expense from work. The following day I contacted lookers to ask if they had found anything. They stated, they can hear a noise but "IT IS SAFE TO DRIVE". I took their word for it and took the car home. The following day, Thursday 20th November 2025, I was driving home from work in traffic, the noise was still present and the car was jumping when accelerating in a way that a manual car would when the clutch was failing. Whilst driving home at approximately 17.15hrs I contacted the service department of lookers to inform them of this. After a heated discussion with a manager arrangements were made for the car to be returned. The car was returned again on Friday 21st November 2025.That afternoon I was contacted by the service department to be told that it was, "GOOD NEWS" the car required a double clutch. There were many issues with this which I would like to discuss. The next time was contact on 8th April 2026 when I realised that the air conditioning is not working correctly. I contacted Lookers, the car was booked In for 1st May 2026 for a re-gas. at a cost of £200.00, and another day off work.I collected my car I was told that it was done checked, everything was fine. On collection of my car I noticed that it had been washed and the front vacuumed. Bearing in mind the weather was inclement at this time I had no real cause to use the air-conditioning, I did switch it on and at the time it did feel a little bit colder than before, so I switched it off again. Two days later Sunday 3rd May 2026, I was out and as I walked towards my car and noticed that the paint had started to peel on the bottom of the drivers door, it wasn't there before. On Tuesday 5th May 2026, I contacted the service department and told them what I had found and they advised me to bring it in and they could have a look at it.I wasted yet another day taking my car into the garage for it to be looked at by a member of the garage service team, Dave I think he was called, also to be joined by James woodfinden, the salesman that sold me the car in the beginning. Two weeks later on Tuesday 19th May 2026, I sent an email to James asking if there were any updates in relation to my paintwork on the door. To date I have still not had a reply. On Thursday 21st May 2026 I had been in work all day, it was quite a warm day. On getting in my car I switched on the air-conditioning to cool the car down, it didn't work.I contacted lookers straight away, this was 17.10hrs. To be told that there was no answer at the stockport branch. I asked for a message to be left. I then phoned back and got through to a person on the sales side, I asked to speak with a manager I was told there were none there. I phoned for a third time to lodge a complaint, and ended up getting through to reception at lookers stockport. By this time I was nearly at the showroom.I went into the showroom to find not only the service staff Katie, The salesman James woodfinden, also there were at least 3 managers there, one of them being josh, the sales manager. The following day Friday 22nd May 2026, the car was collected from my work place around 9am.At approximately 14.30hrs Wayne contacted me to say that he was on return with my car. Around 15.15hrs.At 16.45hrs I contacted the garage, mindful that they leave soon after I spoke to Josh, who told me no more than I already knew, basically that it wasn't working. He also stated that they said i would be contacted by the end of the day, I stated that it was almost the end of the day, and they had all gone by 17.10hrs the previous day, I didn't want to miss them and end up getting no answer all over the bank holiday. Weekend. At 17.15hrs I was contacted and told they could not diagnose the daily and would need the car for several days to get to the bottom of the problem. I have not had any contact from the garage since that date.Considering i had owned the car for 7 weeks when the problems started i am looking at exercising my rights under the consumer rights act 2015. The vehicle you supplied was not of satisfactory standard and not mechanically sound at the time of purchase, or as described on the sale.I am requesting that all all these issues are rectified free of charge, or providing a full refund, as soon as possible, at no further expense or any inconvenience. If we cannot reach a mutual agreement, I am prepared to escalate this matter to the motor ombudsman, or pursue legal action.I look forward to hearing from you within the next 7 days to arrange a resolution.Yours sincerely.Howard Tinsley.
