Very friendly, helpful and not pushy.

Upon purchasing my vehicle we was told the vehicle would be available within a week, upon arrival of our initial purchase the salesman wasn’t happy with the condition of the car so we ended up choosing a different car, this took over 2 weeks from our initial purchase. During this process, we had no communication from Kia side, nobody contacting us and nobody making an effect to keep us in the loop. It was always us ringing them. When it was time to pick the car up, we wasn’t shown to the car just handed the keys and told it’s around the corner. We purchased the car just over 2 weeks ago, since then, the engine light has come on the car, I rang last Friday to raise this issue,My car was booked in the Tuesday after with a courtesy car, Tuesday arrived I received a phone call to cancel this as you didn’t have any courtesy cars available, I was told someone would ring me back to arrange my car coming in (at this point the car is loosing power and needs to be seen), I have been ringing Kia Stockport for the past 3 days and each time just being passed off and told someone will ring me, which surprise I’m still waiting for!The communication has been shocking from purchase and during problems. We are currently making the decision of if we will hand the car back and refund our money due to the lack of communication and care!I am currently driving a car with my 2 young children in which is losing power and has a problem! As you can imagine the frustration when I’m having to take my time out to contact people numerous times and getting nothing back.

I sold my car to Lookers Ford Leeds on last day of Jan 2026. The car then got transferred over to your Kia branch in Stockport. They sold the car on, now their customer is driving around picking up parking tickets and I keep getting them in the post. I have to take time out of work to deal with these and I am now wanting to raise a formal complaint and I want compensation.

Confusing and worrying advice about arrangements for servicing, lengthy waits while ‘going to talk to boss’, credit checks carried out without permission from us, took key fob to go and value our vehicle (which we were not invited to attend), after which the key fob was returned with the cover out of its housing and impossible to put back. Overall a dreadful experience.

On 25 April 2026, I agreed to purchase a specific vehicle from your dealership and paid in full (c.£24k) via bank transfer. On Monday 5 May 2026 I was told by phone that the car was no longer available.I was told the dealership would work to find me an alternative and asked for my max budget and spec requirements. Only at the end of Tuesday did I get an alternative, an option £2k over the budget I set, sent to me with a blurry screenshot. On top of this, I had to chase every few hours to actually get an update on where my money was and when it would be returned.Absolutely no urgency was given to the fact I had parted with an extremely large amount of money and had no idea when it would be returned. When I then politely said I was disappointed with the service, Jason was passive aggressive and rude, he basically told me my expectations were unreasonable, despite them being based on the car I had already paid for.I ended up finding better options myself. One member of staff, Paul, was helpful and gave me more options in 10 minutes than I’d had in three days — which made the overall lack of effort from everyone else even more apparent.Because I have no car and needed one, I had to hire a vehicle for four days at a cost of £167.81 while I sorted out a replacement. I have since bought a car elsewhere. When I raised the hire car cost with the dealership, they refused to offer any reimbursement or even acknowledge that it was a reasonable ask given the circumstances.I am asking for reimbursement of £167.81 and a proper acknowledgement of how this was handled.

Turning up to the branch to be told you wasn’t expecting me, didn’t have the car available to test drive and then eyes rolled when I said the finance would be NHS Fleet! I walked out in the end

I was especially pleased to be allowed a test drive without a salesman looking over my shoulder. Sadly on this occasion I did not buy from Lookers as I found a cheaper car that suited my purposes better. Also when choosing the car I was given extensive advice by the salesmen (Josh and Jourdan) to allow an informed decision. I will be using Lookers Kia for service while in Warranty.

I had my Volvo EX30 (bought from Lookers as well) booked into Lookers KIA to repair a very minor scratch to the door, the car was booked in on 28th and 29th April and was dropped off before 5pm on 27th April due to my having to work away for two days.On the 28th April, we had an early update saying they had looked at another dent in the back as well, which they could fix as well, we would have to pay (not an issue) and would we like to go ahead. Confirming that again, it should still be done in a day, but definitely by the end of the two days.My wife called Lookers KIA, 6 times yesterday to get an update from 13:00 onwards, every time she was put through to the body shop and every time no one answered. At 17:10 onwards or so, I called 3 times as well, the first 2 times, I was again put through to a phone line that no one answered, on the 3rd attempt I refused to be put through until someone was there to answer the phone. Even when they did, they still weren't able to provide an update and the body shop itself was now shut so they weren't able to even check if the car was fixed or not. But it would definitely be completed by 1st May.I told Lookers KIA that we need the car back, it's been two days and I was going to just come and collect it. The insurance company had booked the job in at those dates and we can't not have a car for a scratch smaller then a 5p piece. On arrival this morning, I was told (as expected) that the car hadn't been fixed, in fact no work had been completed and it had basically just been sat int he body shop for two days. So Lookers successfully wasted about 3 and half hours of my time in two trips to a garage, cost me over £25 in transport costs and did absolutely nothing that they were meant to.Additionally, they were meant to be fixing an issue with some glue that Lookers Volvo had got on the allow wheel and needed cleaning off. This hasn't been completed either now, so although I got a very nice phone call from Lookers Volvo when I complained about the servicing there and the issue, it also remains a unresolved. I also didn't get a follow up email to contact him directly which I was told I would. Please note, I am using the feedback form even though last time it took over 28 days and no one contacted me until I started chasing, I assume the form just goes into a black hole.

My brother and I travelled 35 miles to view a 2022 Kia Stonic with 1 owner and full service history. It was variously described in the advert as 'in excellent condition', 'stunning' and 'exceptional'.The bodywork and paint was good, but the interior was a disgrace. The front passenger seat was ripped, all the seats were dirty and stained and there were marks all over the headlining. In our view, it should not have been put up for sale until it had been properly cleaned.Staff were apologetic, saying that the showroom had just been refurbished and the faults would be remedied this week but that was no excuse for such a misleading advert in the first place. As you have probably realised, my brother did not buy the car.

Hello! You did great with the service and MOT, thank you (for MW22EYS).However, this has happened to the reverse camera (see attached)over the past few days and it won't stay up. It looks like the adhesive used to keep it in place has perished/stopped working. Please could a fix be arranged - presumably in warranty - as its making parking the car difficult due to its size? Many thanks,John
