I dealt with Daniel Makin throughout my purchase of my new Discovery Sport. It was difficult to source a new car due to Semi Conductor world wide shortage and the lack cars being built by Land Rover. I had to change the model I initially ordered as it wasn’t being built and instead had to order a Discovery Sport PHEV. Lead time was quoted as 6-12 months. However the new car arrived just before Christmas and caught us out somewhat and I was totally unprepared for a plug in hybrid not having a home chargers. However i had ordered a home charger cable with the car, so that proved beneficial. Handover took place on 22/12/2021 and since then I have been sorting out getting a home charger point installed after trying to get my head around who to get it installed by. Daniel has been most helpful throughout my purchase and is still arranging to get mud flaps fitted, which were not in stock when my car was delivered at the dealership or when I collected it. He has also kept in touch and given me help with trying to obtain better EV mileage which so far has proved disappointing. Also he is sources a bag for my EV cable which seemed to have gone missing between me first viewing the car on a visit prior to handover and when the car was actually collected by me. Daniel has always been helpful courteous and pleasant to deal with and I never felt I was being pushed into making a deal.
