I returned to dealership today with 3 new tyres as requested so that MOT could be passed. I received an email having phoned last friday to book. Midday time agreed. I had to wait for an hour which wasnt the main problem ....the problem was the lady on the service reception used me to highlight to another customer that if they didnt book they would have to wait like me! I did point out i had a booking which she then apologised and said it was an internal blip...but i wasnt best pleased

Harvey and Lewis are an asset to Lookers Colchester- bought a new RR Sport from Lewis previously. Havey is refreshing new car sales and a pleasure to chat to, fulfilling all our requests- nothing too much trouble. The vehicle was transfer from Bishop Stortford- still had the side wall huge tyre buldge, paint work highlighted- not actioned. Refill of AD Blue 11ltrs needed and sent the ‘prepared’ vehicle with questionable brake pads- re wear…. But they passed the 165 checks and an MOT.So sad to say that the feedback re Bishop Stortford- is dreadful- please feedback to their dealership- Steve Daintry- on paying £99 on a vehicle I was told that the vehicle was still for sale and he needed £1000- however he would call me if there was interest in the car. We drove to view the vehicle- which had obv been in an accident- unprepared loads of panels dented and huge scrape down the passenger side- to then be met by his colleague to ask ‘what do you think!’- to then never have a follow up from Steve, even after chasing the £99 refund. We questioned the other sales person re the unprepared car- to be told a decision has been made not to prepare anymore, nor inform the clients!!.So we proceeded with another vehicle but contact Colchester. If Steve had shared the state of the vehicle- then we would never of visited, or held with this vehicle with a deposit. Thankfully I chose not to he bullied into a full deposit. Sadly not all Lookers dealerships treat their clients like Colchester do- which is sad to see- as you would expect consistency within Lookers.
