We were asked to be at the garage for 10 on Sunday to meet the man who we had dealt with the previous Monday, to collect the new £37,300 car. we arrived at 950. By the time we had finished, and drove off in the new car, the salesman we had been told to meet had not arrived for work. It was past 11am. We were dealt with by a very helpful RENAULT part time employee, but his knowledge of the Qashqai Tekna we were buying was limited. He did his best, but we were not impressed overall.

We didn’t feel we were given a effective hand over of the vehicle. There was no talk through of the controls and what we needed to know to drive away. We asked a few question about the controls expected this to be expanded but just received polite simple answers.After driving away no more than a 1/4 of a mile a warning light appeared. We had to return to get this checked. The mechanic who took the car to check was very helpful and reassuring and came back to explain it was the tyre pressure warning light and everything was sorted. It was disappointing that this had not already been checked beforehand. There was crumbs in the centre arm rest, clearly had not been cleaned. This was our first purchase from Lookers and it was not the experience we were expecting.
