I have been driving since 1972 and have bought and owned many cars. Some of them 'Bangers' some Prestige Cars and many in between.Therefore I have dealt with a great number of salespersons and dealers over the years!Some of them have been high pressure (full of patter) people, which immediately puts me off and I invariably walk away from this type of person, sale lost!!Then there are the likeable types who come across as genuine and down to earth. The sort of person I prefer to deal with. After all its my money and I can choose who I want to give it to!My number one salesman will always be Brian Stanners who was the former owner of Formula One Lotus in Newcastle. I got to know him well and consequently bought three Lotus Elises from him. In return, when I needed a prestige car for my daughters wedding, I asked Brian if he knew of any and he told me that I did not need to hire one as he would lend me any car from his stock on the day. The car he loaned me on the day was a top spec Mercedes. And he even sent someone to collect it after the wedding.That's why nobody else can beat Brian!But anyway, back to the survey.I can say hand on heart that the experience I had with Lookers has been a very good one and that has been down to the excellent service I have had all the way through my purchase.Out of the dozens of salespersons I have met, I can honestly say that Abie Chipchase is in my top handful.She is the most down to earth friendly person and almost made me feel like 'family'.I can say she has exceeded my expectations by quite a margin and I would say she is a great credit to your sales team.Keep up the good work Abie.Thank you for my pleasant journey so far with Lookers.My Warmest RegardsTrevor Grainger

Took me 2 minutes to book online and was really straight forward.Best customer service bar none! Pleasant and friendly staff who always greet you with a warm welcome and a smile!

As I mentioned previouslyThe service I received was very good. Your staff we friendly, accommodating and helpful.

Easy to make the booking and check in but the appointment time was changed from 10.00 to 11.00 without my agreement. I initially thought the garage had got the time wrong so had to call the garage to confirm the correct time.I made the original booking online for 10.00. The original booking was confirmed but when I received later emails the time had been changed to 11.00. I had to call Lookers, Gateshead on the morning of the appointment to confirm the time (11.00).I had never used this garage before and, unfortunately, missed a turning and got lost trying to find the garage making me late for the appointment.Interaction with staff in the garage was minimal but everyone seemed cheerful and friendly. I particularly liked the video of the car check and being able to check what stage the job was at and when the car was ready to collect. Paperwork via email and communication was very good. I only used Lookers because I needed to have recall servicing done by a Nissan dealer - I have my own local garage that I use for general servicing and MOTs.
