I was involved in an accident on 1st December 2025 and my car was sent to lookers paint and body in Tyne tunnel trading estate. The repair took too long due to the bodyshop not trying to source parts locally or nationally and instead decided to only order from Audi Germany causing significant delays on getting my car back. I had to continue paying for the car as I could not sell it as I had ordered a new car in September. This caused unnecessary financial stress and affected my mental health as I was paying for 2 cars but only had the use of one, with the part on continuous back order with no end in sight. After months of waiting I went to my local Audi dealer in Sunderland where I was able to source a part in a day from a genuine authorised supplier TPS, collect the next day from Sheffield and deliver it to the bodyshop in the same day, enabling my cars repairs to be completed. My complaint is that I had to incur cost of the car when I was unable to use it, which is understandable if a part is out of stock, however the body shop said they can only use 2 sources of parts one being Audi Germany. Since they ordered the part it was out of stock but they completely failed to see if it was sitting on a shelf available to order nationally. I would like compensation for the significant financial stress and consequential mental health suffered for this negligence. I chose to use the body shop being approved Audi as I wanted and expected the quality of service. I had used them 1 year previously as I had someone drive into my parked car while at work and they repaired it for me.Separately I tried to sell my car on Friday 29th march but the dealer refused my car due to noticing a paint run and poor quality workmanship on the passenger front door of which I had not noticed so refused the purchase. This is specifically why I chose an Audi authorised repairer. And I feel like I have been let down that I have gone through this and the fact my car has unsatisfactory and sub par workmanship.I have asked Audi now to take back my car as a voluntary termination and if they come back to me with this poor quality repair I will be refusing the bill and instead passing the buck to lookers paint and body for poor quality workmanship. What makes this worse again is that the claim against my insurance was £9500 approximately so not a cheap job.

I do realise that this dealership has changed hands and I have been directed to you and most specifically to your bodyshop to realise the repair needed to address a manufacturing problem of my car.I bought my second new F Pace from your company in February 2024 and have been experiencing a ‘creaking” noise from the tailgate, this problem was identified as the requirement to fit new struts in the tailgate which was carried out under warranty but the issue still persisted. I duly booked the car back into the dealership who advised that the tailgate was out of alignment and when it was finally booked into the workshop I was advised today thatI had to refer to you for bodyshop repairs. This fault is clearly a manufacturing problem and has been present from day one of me picking up the car. I would therefore be grateful for you arrange for the necessary repairs to make my car as good as it should have been coming off the production line.I am severely disappointed as my previous F Pace was a terrific car with no issues but with this purchase I have experienced all sorts of minor issues that needed to be addressed.I look forward to hearing from and I am happy to discuss further.Yours SincerelyRobert BF Peat
