I am writing to raise a complaint regarding my experience at a recent appointment at your dealership on 17.02.2026.The appointment for my car was made on 26.11.2025 to investigate a persistent issue with the Front Assist system and to undertake a routine service. This date was chosen specifically during the half-term break, as I rely on my car for work and was not offered a courtesy car, despite my vehicle being under warranty.I dropped off my car on 16.02.2026 to ensure it was available for the appointment. I received no communication during the day to provide an update on progress, so at 15:45 I called to enquire. I was first asked when the vehicle had been brought in, which was concerning. After being placed on hold, I was told that work was still in progress and that the dealership closed at 17:30, although staff would likely be there until 18:00. Despite this, I was still not contacted following my call.As I live approximately 30 minutes away, I travelled to the dealership at 17:00 to collect my car. When I arrived, I was told that the service had been completed, but there was no reference to the Front Assist fault on the paperwork. When I queried this, I was told that the car had been “scanned” and that a technician would contact the technical team to determine whether a software update was required. The information was vague and unclear. I was also told that the warning would remain active and that I would be contacted at a later date.Communication throughout this process was poor, and the manner in which the matter was handled, on the phone and in-person, was dismissive and unprofessional.I would like to request a clear written explanation of the diagnostic work that was carried out and confirmation of the next steps to resolve the Front Assist fault.

Resp;onse knowledge and courtesy first class

my car went in for a service where there was a problem with the charcoal filter and was unable fix this on the date which was 6th Jan 2026 which at this time time the car was still under warranty, shortly after the car was out of warranty and there has been an dispute regarding this ever since. i was told this would be resolved with a week and now we are 6 weeks down the line.i am unsure if this is doing anything to damage the car at this point and i am currently in the process of upgrading my car and this is stopping me from doing this.I have called seat Stockport on a number of occasions and im not getting anywhere.

Staff were not interested in booking me in for a test drive after I said i was interested in PCP and Lease prices. The guy told me to go to a different dealership. After much argument I gave up and decided to go to a different car brand.

Purchased car second hand as nearly new. Noticed a judder/ noise when breaking, brought car into Stockport and was diagnosed with warped front discs. I questioned this as the car was only approx. 7 mouths old and had approx. 2200 miles on the clock. I was assured that discs were warped “must have been abused by previous owner”. Even with tyres like new with the excess rubber from manufacturing still present?Knowing my driving style and milage I would be putting on the car I decided this issue could wait until the scheduled “oil and inspection” service. You carried out these services, and I informed service tec. Reception that the car had been in and previously diagnosed, and to carry out the work previously diagnosed. These works were completed and I was charged for services and new brake discs and pads (front). On my journey home the judder was still there, just spent over £700 on service and brakes only to be no better off. Took the car back only to be told it was the rear brakes that needed to be replaced, on the inspection video taken by your technician it was clearly stated good for a further 7000 miles! Spent a further £180 to have rear brakes replaced. As you are the only service centre that has “serviced” my car you should be able to verify the main details, dates and mileages etc. Please note. I do not want my details used for other use except in relation to this complaint

First contact was good and friendly, the test drive was in a car that wan't to the spec I was told about, the second test drive in another car was good, full go thro' of offers and finance was done on site but was not sent to my email as promised even after a reminder so a lost sale there!
