would be good to be able to book a courtesy car when booking a service online

Took longer than expected due to further issue identified which unavoidably delayed the process a few days. Communication was not as good as expected was mostly unaware of progress until end of the day. Have not yet received email information relating to the repairs carried out (as I was advised would happen).

Communication was not great at the end of the day. I informed the lady looking after the booking that it would take me 1 hour to travel back to the dealership. I phoned the dealership at 4.30pm to see if my car was ready. It was stated that the lady dealing with my booking was on the phone and would call me back with the information. I began my journey to the dealership at 4.45pm as I was aware it closed at 6pm. I finally had a phone call back from the dealership at 5.15pm stating the car was ready. She apologised for the delay as she'd been with another customer. This is fine but maybe a colleague of hers could have contacted me. It's nice to have a dedicated person but I'm not convinced that the role should be fully inclusive. If I had waited then I would not have had my car back for the very early work start the next day. Just to add, the car was spotless when I picked it up. Thank you
