I arranged for my vehicle to be serviced. I arrived at my allotted time(0940) I was greeted by a very pleasant lady. She stated that they would keep the car all day and ring when completed. I returned home and waited to be contacted I also monitored via the web site. It got to about 1620 and so I contacted the service desk via phone, I asked if car was completed the person stated that it may not be and may have to keep till the following day, my reply was I needed my car, she stated that she would speak with the technician and ring me back. At about 1630 she rang me and said can pick up the car. I live in E/Port so then arranged for my daughter to pick me up and get me there, no a good time to go to Chester. I managed to arrive at 1655. She stated that I needed to have the top hose replaced due to a leakage of coolant. The following day I rang the service desk and asked when would I be able to book in, only to be told not until April. I requested if she could establish from the technician how bad it was. She stated that the technician said it should be changed asap. As Lookers Chester couldn’t fit me in I contacted E/Port Lookers and was fitted in the following Monday. I also would like to bring to your attention that the web page detailing were they are up to with the vehicle does not keep up with the progress of vehicle, up-to several days later I hadn’t picked the car up.

Andrew Kelly was very professional and respectful. He did not try to force freed me products and made everything easy to understand. So I would rate Andrew as Excellent. But the service department I would rate lower. Andrew was unfortunately let down by the service department, who did not throughly complete the service they carried out. When the car was started on handover the service light was on. This does leave me wondering about the rest of the service process. I am not filled with confidence about service items and checks I can’t see. When the two I can see the service light and service book. Were not correctly filled out and reset. I think this will lead me to having someone carry out a service prematurely to give me peace of mind.
