It would be better to have a more accurate time for the service I was asked to bring it for 9am received it as completed at 15.30 .

Having been a customer with Vauxhall for many years, I have always had a great experience when dealing with them. I had a couple of issues this time, which I felt needed to be discussed. Thank you to General Manager Martin, who took time to contact me personally and talk them through. I am very happy with how everything has been handled and am very grateful to have been given the opportunity to discuss things. The booking process was simple, my car was dealt with speedily during the drop off process and was ready for collection in no time! Very happy customer! 😊

We were looking for a used car for our twins to learn to drive in (17 on 8th July) - met Carl Randles (Ellesmere Port) on the first visit (23rd June) when we were researching and visiting a number of dealerships. He was excellent - friendly and helpful. Once we'd narrowed down the search to two cars in Lookers (from over 40 cars around Chester dealerships), we visited with the twins (25th June) and met Carl again. Same good experience. We asked if we could test drive both cars the next day (Saturday 26th June), Carl advised he wouldn't be in but he would ask Zoe (don't know her surname) to deal with us and he sent her an e-mail. When we arrived at 1130am the next day as arranged, we noticed that the cars hadn't been moved (penned in by other vehicles) - then we stood for 10 minutes at the reception desk but nobody came near us. I eventually asked the two staff members sitting at the servicing area drinking coffee and having a laugh to let Zoe know we had arrived. It took another 8 minutes for her to appear and she basically said she was busy and Carl should have checked with her first!!! I said we could leave it at which point she perked up. Still had to move the cars obviously, she messed that up by moving the wrong cars first and it took ages (we were past noon by this stage). At this point, I had decided to leave. I've worked in the service industry for over 30 years and wouldn't have a client if I dealt with them like Zoe dealt with us. Then another chap moved one of the cars and took over dealing with us for some reason - Dave Suckley. Dave was excellent and saved the day, I don't understand how sales people have such disregard for clients, Dave didn't and was superb and we bought the more expensive of the two cars - he gave us all the time in the world to test drive and choose, well done Dave, saved the day as I say. Another point is test driving a car on our own is so much better than with a member of the Lookers' team and whilst this is due to covid, it should continue. My comments are reflected in the above scores.
