Simon made the whole experience of buying a new car less stressful for me and even came in on his day off to complete the handover

1. Dealership - no complaints and very good service from Simon Bant.2. Vauxhall Finance - in some respects I cannot believe that I am taking on another finance agreement with this company. I have been treated appallingly. I had a new car on order since March so it was clear that I was going to enter into a new finance agreement with VF. After eight months of waiting (delay in arrival of new car) and having the contract on my existing car extended, VF suddenly decided I had to enter into a new refinance agreement on the existing car, despite the fact that the arrival of the new car was imminent. No forewarning to me about this change in policy by VF and no explanation as to the reason why. From talking to the dealership they have also been blindsided by this and I wonder if I am an exception as they were not aware of other customers having received the same treatment as me. Since the change in policy I have been threatened with a notice of default and that my file would be handed to a third party collection company; note most of this correspondence has been via TEXT!!! I have lost count of the number of times I have rung VF, and explained my situation to multiple individuals in different departments. I will be following up separately with Vauxhall Finance and plan to give my experience publicity.3. Vauxhall Manufacturers: I appreciate we are living in difficult times but what sort of a company cannot provide the dealerships with a firm delivery date?

For me car wasn’t checked over properly. Scratches on passenger door and bonnet plus a blemish in the paint work, condensation in the head lights , passenger seat want move to get a person in the back. Small little things that should be fixed . Apart from the above I found the experience hassle free with no pressure.

We purchased our car from Sam Downes in St Helens he is a lovely young man he is very polite this is our second car which we purchased off Sam.Sam is really helpful he kept us updated with the delivery of the car no problems at all.

Can’t thank Sam Downes enough excellent customer service and even when things happened out of his control he couldn’t apologise enough. I love my new car

Only disappointment was that the used car I bought had only 3 months MOT. I would have expected at least six if not 12. I would like to speak to a manager about this issueOther than the above the experience was very good, the attention from Chris, the sales exec was great
