Poor communication, poor customer service, vehicle quality

I purchased a used T-roc in April this year.I was told it was all ready to go and collected it.When arriving home I realised there was no sounds coming from the car not from radio or even when i connected my phone no sound what so ever. Upon furture inspection it was filthy dirty under the back seats and in the cup holders in the back was filthy also.I took it back to the sales person and Vw kept it for the day. I was told by the person who sold me the car that the Media system needs changing and that they will order a new media system in for me and they will contact me when its in so i can book the car in to have the issue resolvedIn May i had not heard anything so I contacted Vw looker walton and explained that i was waiting on a new media system and nobody had contacted me. I was then told someone would call me back. Nobody ever did instead i received a text message stating appointment reminder that an appointment had been made for the 26/5/26 which i was unable to attend as i was late coming off a night shift I changed the appointment date to 8/6/26 and left the car in for what I tought was my new media system as this is what i had been told.Today 8/6/26 i Received a phone call stating it wasnt a media system change that they had to do a report on the vehicle to send on to someone else to then decide if they can order a new media system for the car and something about the warrenty. Its extremely frustrating as 1. I never should of been sold a car under the impression that everything was working if the whole media system wasnt working. The communication has not been good and what I had been told was a new media system would be ordered and i was expecting this to be done today as i was told. I have been pretty lenient until now but its one disappointment after another. I am starting to think he has fobbed me off with a car that he new was not in working order. Also the paperwork in the car states that everything was checked and ticked off as working which clearly is not the case. The service team have been lovely and understanding but I never would of accepted this car if I had of known the media wasnt working as I need media in my car to take calls for work as part of my job i take calls on the go which i cannot do now as a result of being sold a faulty car.

I wrote a review on Trust pilot and I received a reply informing me to make a more formal complaint on your website. I am not going to rewrite my complaint as all the detail is on Trust pilot website. My feedback is I just want to know why the salesman felt he did not need to contact me either by phone or email about the test drive that I had requested as a follow up. Also If I had received friendly customer service on the day I would have bought a car on the day.

Visited Lockers Walton in late March or early April with the intention of buying a new car. What I thought would be an exciting experience turned out to be miserable. On entering the showroom I spoke to the gentleman from servicing first who was sitting at his desk he was lovely and directed me to the car sales team. I walked up to who I thought may have been the manager. As he was standing up and 3 &4 others were sitting at their desks. They were aware that I had walked down but didn’t acknowledge me until I spoke to the man standing up. I informed the man standing up that I had come to purchase a car. He said in a monotone not interested air “had I booked” I informed him I hadn’t but had taken the opportunity to visit rather than searching online and booking. He then without any eye contact in a dismissive tone asked a young man sitting at the desk nearest to him if he could see me. After a considerable pause he said yes. I sat down and his whole approach was hostile in tone of voice no pleasantries. We had an extremely short conversation I asked if he could tell me about the latest polo and golf. He didn’t he just said what’s your budget. We ended up arranging I thought test drive but have never heard back. I did ask to view the golf and polo in the show room he just pointed to the cars and said have a look. He made me feel that he was not interested in selling to me and I had wasted his time. As I left the showroom I saw him running across to the car park behind the building . I had obviously had stopped him from leaving work he did glance over at me but no recognition. I believe the young man was called James. Nevertheless to say I was never phoned to come back for a test drive. It was a dismal experience I would not recommend anyone to buy there car from lockers at Walton.

I took delivery of my long awaited new ID3 yesterday and after charging last night felt there was something not quite right. Further investigation demonstrated I had been provided with a Match Pro and NOT the longer range Match pro S I had ordered, which clearly was not picked up in the preparation prior to me picking it up.This is a much more significant issue from that of three years ago when my new ID3 then arrived in the wrong colour.I am escalating this as it needs to be sorted urgently

Hi VW,While topping up the screen wash on my vehicle, I noticed that the air intake pipe connected to the air filter housing was completely disconnected. The vehicle underwent a service with yourselves around October. The vehicle has also previously been returned to yourselves for a dashboard rattle repair, during which I was informed the dashboard had to be removed to access the heater matrix area.Work is only ever carried out by yourselves and the retaining clip for the intake pipe was not engaged when discovered. The pipe required significant force to reconnect but must not be correctly fitted as fuel consumption is still poor.Since the service, I have also experienced poorer than expected fuel consumption, which may or may not be related.I spoke with Elicia in reception today, who advised me to bring the vehicle in for inspection, which I intend to do tomorrow morning.

On the 19th May 2026 I paid a deposit of £250 for a VW Golf SV, which I did not purchase. I was told my deposit would be returned to myself in the next couple of days. I am still waiting for my deposit.

I purchased my car in 2024. To this date we have still not recieved the V5 for this car. We have contacted Lookers and I call regularly only to be told that someone from admin will call me. We still have had no contact from lookers and the V5 hasn't come through. I am seriously concerned about the implications on my insurance. I would like someone to contact me at the earliest available oppotunity and assure me that this will be addressed ASAP. I am concerned that this car has been sold to us illegally.

Hi I visited the Lookers VW garage as i wanted to buy a Polo for my son. I arrived at approx 10.30am on Sat 16th. I followed the signs to client parking and there were no spaces in the approx 40 spaces. I ended up just leaving the car on the side and walked to the front to look at a car. I went to enter the facility and the front doors were locked and no opening. My wife was on the inside and had to show me where the open door was. Inside there were no available staff so we left. It was one of the worse car experiences I have seen in the last 20 years.

Great Steve made us feel comfortable and reason we keep coming back
