I went into lookers for a financial review as I’m 3/4 years into my second agreement, and was helped by a member of the sales team who was incredibly helpful. On the 7th March I initially agreed to a new deal after hours of negotiations, and was asked to pay a £500 deposit out of the £2500 overall deposit. I was told this deposit is refundable and I also had a number of days to make any changes.On the 17th March I decided to pull out of the deal, no agreements were signed at this point, and the e-documents were not written to the correct address. I pulled out due to financial reasons as the new agreement was much higher then expected. So the sales manager at lookers agreed to returning the £500 deposit.It’s now been almost 5 weeks, I’ve reached out to the sales person who helped and he reports to the manager who in return says they’ll get back or deal with it. However I’ve had no contact and have had to chase this matter.If no financial agreement has been signed legally the deposit should be returned back, I can understand if there was a delivery fee, but if the car has been sold on then the company itself has not been at a loss.Please kindly help recover the £500, as the sales manager at lookers has not dealt with this matter well, especially for a loyal customer of 8 years.I stress, the sales person who helped me initially has been great and I leave him with positive feedback.

Good service, Lewis was very helpful interpreting my requirements and answering my questions

I came in with my girlfriend, Georgette Olaiya, who is the customer on 21.03.26, she wanted to know what her options were for a new car. The sales guys were pushy, and lied in order to get my girlfriend to agree to a deal. She was interested in the t roc and they told her it being discontinued which is a lie. They pushed her to make a deal on a car but she was not sure about the colour. She told them she would sleep on it and call them the next day. She did not call the next day, Jordan called her on 22nd, 23rd, 24th, 25th, 26th and was pushy on the 26th. I want to bring to your attention how your sales people are going about trying to make sales.

Very friendly and efficient staff

My vehicle (VW id3 '21 reg) Booked for MOT.Was informed there was a recall on the model requiring an extra day in garage, dedpite no recall notice bring issued by vw for it, and no faults with car. Was told it was software related but was not provided with any recall code.On the day agreed for pickup, they provided no update. When I went to pickup the car they stated the update kept failing, so car was not ready.When I asked them to rollback to previous version (3.2x) they stated they cannot as the car currently has no software.Basically, lookers have broken my car, not explained the reason why, lied about the cars status and been unable to provide us with i replacement.I want lookers to return my car with the software version i left it with them at as soon as possible. Otherwise I will never use them again.

Pretty good. But slightly disappointing that new tyres being required to pass MOT you didn't have them in stock to fit on the day. Standard tyres are not obscure parts.

purchased vehicle January 2025 with 6500 miles on the clock, vehicle has been used on a daily basis but only clocked another 3000 since then. has taken it to local tyre shop (Merry Tyres) only to be advised that the tyres are cracked and needs to replace all 4 tyres. customer understandably not happy and not willing to pay for the replacements as she feels they have either been faulty or at the limit at the time of purchase
