On mqy first used car purchase, which was return and changed for another one, my simple mind tells me how Lookers can supply a used car with such serious mechanical problems. The second I acquired the vehicle I noticed the serious defects and my communication with the upper management was not really satisfactory as it was evident that they just simply wanted to get rid of the vehicle. At this stage I was prepared to return the vehicle and return to my Mercedes dealer where I have been a client for 13 years. It was the help, behaviour, apologies and re-assurances that were given to me by your sales person Leonardo de Sousa that convinced me to go for the used Tiguan. In all honesty clients can't be treated according to the value of the car as this is totally false marketing approach. The Management never offered an apology for the nightmare I was put with a totally unacceptable used car, but again it was Leonardo's attitude and body language that convinced me to stay with VW and buy the Tiguan. As an ex owner of manufacturing set up I judged Leonardo's attitude and his commitment to the client's interests which is paramount for sales. After all Lookers is not an Arthur Daily's car dealership, but I tend to believe a serious one.
