I'm a motability customer dealing with Catherine at lookers Blackburn. I worked for the lookers group in the 1990s as a salesman for 10 yes with VW and Audi cars. I was impressed with her level of product knowledge and attentive care that she showed me. I'm still looking at the VW id3 and will place my order in November if the car is still on the scheme. Thank you to your excellent motability expert.

I will look into Service plan, which I was not aware of. The Sales people were helpful during the purchase process. I managed to download the VW app and configure it to the car SIm. It would help on handover, if someone could explain the technical side of the vehicle, especially meaning of terms such as s pin and security settings. These esoteric technical terms are difficult to understand for the uninitiated. Surely, some Wiz kid could be allocated to do this, especially now that vehicles are equipped with technical innovations which are under constant change.

At the time of purchase I was offered a two year warrantee with the car however, I was later informed as I am a taxi driver this guarantee was not extended to vehicles being used as a taxi even though I made them aware this care would be used as a taxi before any money changed hands . The offer was made verbally and no mention was made about the exclusion of vehicles being used as taxis. I have since looked into other car dealerships they offer warrantees based on the age or the mileage of the vehicle no mention of its intended use. I cannot do anything about this agreement as it was verbal but I feel they should have made this clear before an £8000.00 deposit was made.

I wasn't told what was wrong or what parts were changed on the SOS system, or what fault it u of caused, am Disabled so may need this system.
