Hi Scott,I am still awaiting the arrival of a parcel shelf for my car, please can you look into this and get back to me on this matter.RegardsRichard SmithSent from my iPhonean update, on my missing parcel shelf, which I have not yet received.

I am writing to raise a complaint regarding a repair I was required to complete only three months after purchasing my vehicle. Please see the detailed breakdown report here:https://rescue-report.rac.co.uk/rescue-report/ovngpg1baa?vrn=PX14WXS&source=MyRac+AppOn 2nd October, exactly three months after purchase, the vehicle failed to start and was sent to a garage, where it remained for 11 days. The diagnosis confirmed that the timing belt had slipped due to an oil leak. The oil leak repairs was covered by RAC Warranty; however, I was held liable for the timing kit replacement as it had not been replaced since 2014, and the warranty provider therefore refused to cover it. Please find attached the invoice for the amount I paid.My concern is that I was assured the vehicle had been fully serviced prior to sale and that the Maintenance Checklist, specifically including checks on the timing belt condition, had been carried out. If this inspection had been done properly, the deteriorated timing belt should have been identified and replaced, because if it was, RAC warranty would've covered it as it would be a fresh beltUnder the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. A major mechanical failure only three months after purchase does not meet these standards, and I find it unacceptable that I have had to bear this cost.I kindly request that you review this matter and reimburse the cost of the timing kit repair. Please let me know if you require any additional information or documentation.I look forward to hearing from you soon.

This morning I visited your Blackpool dealership, originally just to look at a car. I was dealt with byLiam Simms. His attitude, and professionalism are a credit to your company. He explained about the car Iwas interested in, and ended up purchasing. I would just like to pass on, how easy, and relaxed he made the transaction.YoursDavid Berrie.

Dear Sir/Madam,I am writing to raise a formal complaint regarding a 2018 BMW 320i, registration A24 SPA (original registration YH18HBO), purchased from Lookers Blackpool on 11 May 2024.In June 2025, just 13 months after purchase, the vehicle developed a major timing chain-related engine failure, leaving it completely unusable. The vehicle has now been off the road since July 2025.The vehicle is currently located at Blackpool Motor Works (BMW MINI SPECIALIST garage), who have submitted a full diagnostic report and repair quote to RAC Warranty. Despite this, no repair authorisation has been granted. BMW Preston also confirmed the failure, but advised they do not communicate with RAC directly, leaving me without any progress. This is my only family vehicle . I now have a 12 weeks old baby , and being without transport has placed a serious strain on my ability to manage daily family needs , medical visita and essential travel.I have already contacted Redline Finance, the finance provider, under Section 75 Consumer Credit Act, and I am currently awaiting their response, but no resolution has yet been provided.Despite paying for a 36-month RAC warranty issued at the point of sale by Lookers and continuing to pay finance for a vehicle I cannot use, I am being passed between RAC, garages, and BMW without a working resolution.Furthermore, I have already spent approximately £700 of my own money for towing and diagnostic fees due to the delays and lack of direct action between RAC. This has caused additional financial pressure on top of the inconvenience of being left without a vehicle.Consumer RightsUnder the Consumer Rights Act 2015, a vehicle sold by a dealership must be:• Of satisfactory quality• Fit for purpose• Durable for a reasonable periodA major engine failure shortly after purchase, followed by months of non-use, clearly breaches these standards.Resolution RequestedI require Lookers Blackpool to take responsibility as the selling dealer and arrange one of the following without further delay:• Immediate authorisation and completion of repair through BMW or another competent repairer, handled directly by Lookers/RAC, OR• A replacement vehicle of equivalent value, OR• Termination of the finance agreement with reimbursement of payments made, should repair not be achievable within a reasonable timeframe. Please treat this as a formal complaint. If no satisfactory resolution is confirmed within 14 days, I will escalate to:• Lookers Head Office• BMW UK Customer Relations• Motor Ombudsman• Financial Ombudsman Service• Trading StandardsI expect Lookers, as the supplying dealer, to take direct responsibility for resolving this matter.I request written confirmation of your intended action.Attachment : BMW quote ,works done at RAC approved garageKind regards,Sajith Ajithkumar📞 07404 148737🏠 25 Hazelmere Road, Fulwood, Preston, PR2 9UL

On 11 January 2024, the Financial Conduct Authority launched an investigation into unfair historical motor finance commission arrangements. This has made me aware that I may have been caught out by this unfair practice. As I had a finance agreement with your firm, I am writing for clarification on the following two requests:1. A request for information you hold on my behalf. I would like to ask if my finance agreement with you (details below) had any form of discretionary commission arrangement between you and the broker / car dealer or any other entity involved in the transaction. If it did, I request you inform me within one calendar month of the date of this communication. For the sake of clarity, this first request is purely for information and is not a complaint or expression of dissatisfaction, and is not subject to the FCA’s pause. If there is failure to comply with my request, please treat this request as a data subject access request under the Data Protection Act 2018/GDPR.2. If there is/was a discretionary commission arrangement in place in relation to my finance agreement with you, I request you treat this communication as a formal complaint arising out of the commission arrangement and the fact it was not adequately disclosed at the time it was taken out. The complaint should be treated as being made on the date of this communication. Please confirm to me within one calendar month that you have done so.

Informative and polite staff. Also very helpful.

feedback gained as part of QA contact calls. Mrs Joanna Moss 8096708. Always had Fords but this was my first VW. Keith was helpful, laid back and also supportive. Built a great rapport. He called 2 days after handover to check i was ok with everything. Csilla was also really good. She had just arrived at the dealership and not even started work but she came and helped me with an issue with digitally signing documents. They were both really lovely and it was appreciated.

Scott was very friendly and provided First Class Outstanding Customer Service, test drive was excellent without any sales pressure which sets lookers Volkswagen miles apart from any other company, I would have no hesitation in recommending this company, unfortunately Lookers could not compete on price on a Lease deal as Scott explained which is understandable.
